10/10 One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had!
We stumbled upon this small family-owned Italian restaurant and left feeling like part of the family. The food was incredible, every dish tasted homemade, fresh, and filled with love. But what really made the experience unforgettable was the warmth and kindness of the staff.
Our server, Destiny, was so sweet, attentive, and genuinely caring. She made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. We ended up staying long after we finished eating, chatting with Destiny and the host, Laura, about life, the restaurant’s history, and everything in between. It felt like catching up with old friends.
This place is a hidden gem and truly a must-visit in Boston. Great food, even better people. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could!

I am so happy that I was able to get a table here on one of the busiest weekends for the year. This restaurant is a hidden gem! The cheese ravioli was cooked to perfection. The sauce was very good too. The meatballs were amazing! A perfect meal to end a perfect day!

This was romantic, magical, and delicious. A young man came in and sang a love song in Italian at one point. The chicken parm was peerless, and we barely managed to eat some of the dessert menu before giving up. It was a wonderful experience, and the price was right. Highly recommend!

First time coming here, and quickly became one of my favorite north end restaurants! The atmosphere is great for a quiet and romantic date night. The quality of the food is amazing, I had the ravioli and meatball which was one of the specials! It was unbelievable, highly recommend!

Came here for anniversary dinner, arrived early and we’re sat promptly. Server was nice gave us specials and time to look at menu. We went with Barbara special and pasta with meatballs along with bruschetta appetizer.
The Barbara special was too sweet and veal overcooked, too much cheese didnt help. The bruschetta was really cheese bread, no sight of basil or tomatoes and bread was soggy because of cheese covering it. Had to use spoon to eat soggy bread. The pasta was overcooked and meatballs nothing to write home about. Then we seemed to have been forgotten and watched folks who came in after us get there checks before us though we asked earlier.
Disappointed as we go with Italian every anniversary and thinking this was going to be great.

We were a large group and our waiter couldn’t have been nicer. I had pork chops with vinegar peppers and it was very good. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Ricotta pie was a fantastic dessert.

Very good pasta with Italian sausage rock m, slow service but worth going back! Next time I’ll order a parmigiana, the lemon chicken is very tasty and the dishes are well served. Much success!

After doing research on a good place for a nice dinner, La Summa did not disappoint. Since I was traveling solo, I was concerned that service would not be the same as if with a group; I was so wrong. I was greeted warmly and my server Sharon was excellent, she made the experience even better. The cheese ravioli app special was delectable, and the Barbara’s special was just as delicious, although most of that went home with me. I look forward to some day returning to Boston and having dinner at La Summa

We loved dining at La Summa! The chicken Parmesan was delicious! The staff was friendly and gave great recommendations. Our favorite part was the random authentic Italian singing that happened mid meal! The man singing was absolutely amazing and it shifted the whole mood in the restaurant to fun and cheerfulness! We loved La Summa!
