The service was great, the guy walked us through each dish. My wife and I picked our favorite four to take home for the next couple of nights. It all tastes absolutely amazing and we love it! The tamales were an easy yes, they were my first ever real tamale and I’m better for it now. We picked up a couple of grocery items we can’t find at our local store. AND LETS NOT FORGET THE CHICHARRONES! I guess I’ve never had a real one of those either because the difference is night and day, these are a serious treat!! Everything is very affordable and clean, even the bathroom. I’ll be back 100 percent

A hidden jewel nestled among the unassuming store fronts of New Bedford. We ordered the costillas de cerdo (pork ribs) with yellow rice and beans. The ribs were incredibly tender, the rice was incredibly moist, the beans were cooked to perfection and the sauce was life-changing! This meal was so incredible that I got an order of papusas mixtas to go — and I’m glad I did, because they were divine.

Great prices and absolutely delicious food every single time. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and made with care.
One thing I really appreciate is how kind and patient they are. I don’t speak Spanish, but they always take the time to explain the menu to me and make sure I understand what I’m ordering. They never rush me and always make me feel comfortable and welcome.
The vibe is warm, friendly, and genuine. I truly love it here and will keep coming back!

Very nice and friendly staff with many dishes to choose from. This is a very welcoming cultural eatery that doesn’t make you feel overwhelmed. The guy at the counter explained everything so I could get a good understanding of what each dish was. I went with the pork ribs, DELICIOUS! I honestly just went in looking for chicharrones and found soo much more! Can’t wait till I’m up the street again!!!

I was blown away by this place. We stopped in for pupusas and tamales, only to find out the tamales sell out within 2 hours early in the morning. So we’ll definitely be back for those! Inside it was spacious and clean. After seeing the selection available, we got 2 lunches, small to-go orders of salads, some spicy sausage (yum!!!) and got some hot sauce. Along with 4 Mexican cokes, our to-go order came to $38! Along with one of the nicest, most informative employees I’ve ever encountered, the meal was delicious and filling. We brought it home and along with us, our 2 kids devoured it. And we had leftovers!!! We’re definitely going back to eat in. I read an article about the owner, and she is a true inspiration, and her restaurant is awesome. Thank you!
