For starters I love the atmosphere and the lady at the front was really nice. I normally go to Island Spice but this place was on my way home.
Anyways the food was good but tasted like soul food? Oxtail tasted like beef tips? Cabbage was giving Sunday dinner and plantains were good. Was bad but didn’t taste Jamaican.
3/5

I was sorely disappointed in the food. The oxtail was tender, but flavorless and the sauce was almost tasteless. The bbq chicken was average with no flavor but the store bought tasting bbq sauce. The beef patty was well spiced and tasty.
The service was fast and friendly, but the dinning area was so hot it would have been more comfortable to eat in my car.

Very disappointed. This place has the worst attitude in the food business. I stopped coming here for years because of poor customer service and decided to give it another chance, hoping things had improved. Unfortunately, they have not.
For lack of better words for description the older woman with the eye- working there was extremely unprofessional and unwelcoming. Her dismissive and rude attitude alone is enough to drive customers away and will ultimately hurt this business if it continues. Additionally the food she cooks as well is no longer good either!
Customer service matters just as much as the food. If you dont want to argue just to eat then stay away!

I stopped by for some beef patties and coco bread. Staff was nice so i am unsure what the reviews are talking about they were abrupt yes, but that’s how many non-anerican cultures are. She was still all smiles.
Beef patties were great. I don’t get out for lunch much so if i find myself nearby i will be back

So this is a nice family Jamaica owned restaurant. The food did not mess. It was on points. I had jerk chicken, and a beef patty with some juice. Meat was falling off the bone. Perfect temperature a nice spot to grab something quick & thoroughly cooked with authenticity.

Put more love into your business. As a carribean woman I feel when you start off in the restaurant business you put love and spice in your food, then when I gets booming you short cut. I wanted authentic jamacian food but I did t want to cook so I wasted 40 dollars ordering a brown stew chicken meal and a meat ball meal. Needless to say this was store bought bagged meatball with a water down sugar water sauce. The brown stew chicken had absolutely no flavor what so ever and the cabbage was definitely left over and not freshly cooked. For the prices yall charging for food yall have to do better. And take time to clean your establishment. Presentation is everything

I got some food from this restaurant today, and I wouldn’t normally leave a review, but after paying $71.00 for 2 plates of Oxtail that I didn’t enjoy, I decided to leave a review of this restaurant.
I’m a truck driver who travels for a living, and I love food from the Caribbean, but sadly to say, I WILL NOT BE EATING AT THIS RESTAURANT ANY LONGER…!!!
The food had no flavor, The red beans and rice were gummy, and the service was below average ..
Ps… Yes, I ate the food because I paid for it but that won’t happen again…!!!!

I love the portion size and prices!!
However, food just a little too salty. Brown stew Chicken needs just a little brown sugar to contrast. Jerk needs a slight bbq or whatever ingredient used to make it savory with just a zing of sweet.
However, the fall off the bone chicken keeps me coming back. Like I can eat the bones it’s so tender. & the spice. LOVE the punch of spice!

I got the jerk chicken and rice with peas, cabbage and plaintains, it came out piping hot and delicious! The chicken was fall off the bone tender, with a good amount of spice. Plantains helped sweeten everything up, and the rice soaked in gravy was perfect! It’s a simple restaurant, mostly for to go but had tables for a quick sit down meal. Would definitely come back, the salt fish another customer got looked sooo good!

This some of the best Jamaican food I’ve tasted in a long time! I always get the curry chicken and it’s so good; I see mixed reviews about the food but I love it
