Went for dinner the other night with family and it was great! Food and service were amazing! Carbonate, chicken parm, some type of seafood pasta and veal picatta were all absolutely demolished! Not a crumb left. Excellent experience! Also had the fried goat cheese salad but didn’t get a picture of it because the table finished it before I could take a picture. Delicious!

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience and can’t wait to come back! My Chicken Primavera and my husband‘s Veal Saltimbocca were amazing!
And the bruschetta was seasoned perfectly and very fresh and delicious. And the tiramisu was some of the best we’ve ever had and it made fresh there!
We also enjoyed a nice bottle of Italian Vino, but what made our dining experience so special was getting to know our charismatic server Jim and their world class Chef Davide! All the way from Naples Italy! This is true authentic Italian cuisine at its finest.We also enjoyed meeting Pauola and their outdoor dining area is decorated beautifully.
This will be our local cheers, and we can’t wait to come back and bring our friends!

First and foremost, thank you, Cuoco Pazzo Trattoria for your gracious hospitality and hosting of my late father-in-law’s memorial celebration! The hosting of my large Italian family in your restaurant made us all feel like an even larger family! Shannon was absolutely stunning this evening and was flawlessly on point! Her attention to the needs of my family didn’t go unnoticed. Bravo! She and the other servers are an absolute credit to your amazing establishment! The atmosphere was perfect(Sorry we were sooo loud )!!!! The food was absolutely delicious and as authentic as my grandparents old world cuisine. Everything that was served was perfect in temperature, taste, and presentation! Thank you for taking us back to the fun, food and memories around their kitchen table! As a former f&b server I could clearly see the dedication to a stellar dining experience offered by both the front and back of the house! You truly made this memorial dinner for my father-in-law a special moment for us all to remember! A most heart felt “Thank You” to you all! Welcome to “our” family and we can’t wait to break bread with you again!

I agree with the previous review. Food & service were excellent but we felt it was too bright, too loud, and the seats were not comfortable.
While one of the most delicious meals I have had in Charleston, the portion of fish was very small for $40. It was more a plate of angel hair accompanied by a small side of fish and 2 or 3 spears of asparagus, artichokes.
The coffee was probably the best coffee I have had since Caprricio’s (long gone) and the limoncello cake was also really good!

Lived in Italy, NYC and Charleston and this is hands down the best Italian in Charleston. Italian family owned amazing service. Ask for Jim! He’ll deliver a smile with a side of Joy that competes with the chefs creation! Highly recommend

My Italian husband and i enjoyed one of the single best meals we ve had in America in many years. The decor was Italian elegance to perfection, the hostess charming and warm , the staff welcoming and the food and wine were beyond anything we ve tasted outside Italy.
This restaurant is a treasure. If you re anywhere in the Charleston, SC, area don’t miss out on a wonderful dining experience. You will not be disappointed. We plan on returning next fall when we re back for a visit .

When I arrived at the host stand I was informed that reservations were required, but since it was just me, they agreed to seat me at the bar. I was served quickly by the bartender. They do only have Pepsi products and for some reason that does not include Mountain Dew. I got a Starry and the Lasagna. The Lasagna was the best lasagna I’ve gotten at any restaurant during my travels, even dethroning my current top contender which was Bruno’s Little Italy in Little Rock (that one was on diners drive ins and dive). I mentioned the Starry as my drink was refilled with Water by accident. The bartender and I had a good laugh about it and it was no big deal. The staff is really friendly here.

Do not recommend at all. Got the eggplant dish and it was extremely salty and the eggplant was completely masked by the large amount of cheese they put on top. The pasta sauce tasted like it came out of a jar. Multiple people from our party, including myself, complained of our stomachs hurting later that night. Our server however was great! He was very kind and enthusiastic. He provided great service. The atmosphere of the restaurant was super cute too.
