On the lookout for hometown charm, we stumbled upon this adorable gem! The atmosphere is delightful, and the ice cream is incredibly tasty. We indulged in a 4 scoop flight of ice cream that was simply divine. The quaint shop features an assortment of unique items, including enchanting candles. For additional seating, there’s a cozy back room available. Donald and Dusty are incredibly personable and shared some intriguing tales about the place. They even host events on the patio! If you find yourself in the area, be sure not to miss out on this special spot.

Such fantastic service and super tasty homemade sammies! I got the turkey + Gouda on cranberry bread. AMAZING. They load you up. This will become my new go to spot for travel between Madison and Chicago.

Just popped in for an ice cream on my lunch cause my usual place was closed. Lucky me! I was their very first sandwich order. I went with the Rialto on Henry…O….M…G…..SO YUMMY!!! (not gonna include the description, go check it out for yourself) I also went with the creamy Wild Rice Soup which was divine. Bringing my coworker back for lunch tomorrow, cause I have to try the 53534 Cheeser….the description looks like the holy grail of Grilled Cheese. Keep up the good work guys!

My wife and I and 3 friends visited Friday night after a dinner out. Your ice cream shop was best finish to a wonderful dinner! The place is so beautiful and quaint. Cute little rooms with all sorts of gifts. A nice selection of ‘vintage’ candies. But the best was the welcoming hospitality of those serving behind the counter and the fantastic ice cream varieties! Flavors I’ve never heard of! Cones, shakes, sodas and more…this is our new go to place!

This delightful destination was the best! The Italian wrap that was delicious and a shake that deserved that whipped cream on top! The staff was friendly and efficient. There was a steady stream of customers of all ages and the staff did a great job of attending to all! This will not be our last visit!

We had an excellent lunch and this sweet place with Chef Jessie at the helm.
Sandwiches were made to perfection with Boars Head meats and delicious breads. Vegetable Beef soup was homemade and fantastic.
Save room for dessert- Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream is the best way to end your meal.

I stopped in for the first time on Friday evening (7/2/21). The ice cream selection was good (maybe 10-15 flavors?) and definitely something for everyone. It was VERY good! The owners were very kind and friendly. They do sell pints as well as the cups/cones which is very dangerous with just how delicious it was. In fact, I had to stop in again on the 4th for my second fix! I can see this is going to become dangerous for my diet!

There is also a great selection of coffee, old time candy, what looked like some home made (maybe local made?) jewelry and don’t miss the candles hiding in back! They are hand made by the owner and smell AMAZING!!!

Really love this shop and so happy to have found this little gem hidden away in the middle of the downtown area! <3

This is a new shop in town….2+ months since it opened. It’s a simple place but with a great mix of product. Lots of locally sourced goods. Let’s start with Chocolate Shoppe ice creams. For many of us that would be enough.

But there’s more. Candy from our childhood. Jams, olives, salsas and decor items: wall hanging plaques with clever sayings on them.

We like this place. It’s a really great walking destination. Benches out front. Scones to and more inside. And, a couple of friendly faces behind the counter! You’ll appreciate their heavyweight scoops in your cone!

If you want great ice cream this is the place to go to! And even if you can’t eat ice cream like I can’t, they have a dairy free version made with oat milk, which is delicious. The staff was really nice and the patio out back is just lovely. See you next time!
