According to Google Maps, a three star review indicates, “It’s okay.” So, despite the label on the table asking for 5 stars or to talk with the manager, this is my rating and since I don’t live here, I’m not really interested in talking to staff about the things that made it “okay.” The mac and cheese tasted fine, but the cheese was runny and thin. The garlic fries were somewhat soft and not crispy in the way you’d like. The tortillas on the tacos were a bit dry and hard. I believe this is from toasting them first, and then they had cooled by the time I ate them. The best part was the chicken poblano soup. I didn’t hate it and wouldn’t avoid it if I was in the area, but it was the quintessential “okay” for me.

This place has a variety of different foods! i went with the Dragonslayer burger. It was the single 13$ out the door, the 1/3 patty was thick and well seasoned. i quite liked the red onion blue cheese combo.

My office really enjoys getting food from Cubby‘s because of the steak salads. I tried to torta this time and it was pretty flavorful but very small. Overall the food quality is high and definitely worth trying. Ordering the food online is kind of a pain, I would probably order them more for lunch if they had a more user-friendly experience or app to use. I really like the fries that they have there and will definitely order those again. My favorite sandwich at this point is the dragonslayer.

One of those places where you have to tip before you receive your food and the service, except for the only service I received was the food brought to the table.
If you’re looking for an authentic Italian beef experience, look elsewhere. This sandwich has the wrong beef, wrong bun, wrong giardiniera peppers, which are 80% celery, 19% carrots and 1% peppers. Dining in, dipped wet sandwich is served on a mesh tray wrapped in a foiled paper, which quickly started disintegrating and getting into food, while my beef was falling through the mesh , touching the table. Look at the puddle from the juices. I can’t be the first person to ever order this. How is this acceptable!? Then I asked for a plate and was given the most disgusting dirty plate that I wiped with a dry napkin and it was black. Horrible experience. Blueberry milkshake was decent.

The women of the family love Cubby’s. They always like their salads. I always seem to find some thing I like as long as they stay away from the tri-tip sandwich. That sandwich overall has made me sad too many times in the past to try it again This time around we tried a few items that were new to us and left a very happy.
Houdini burger – 4 stars – overall good. Tasty and will try again, but would not go out of my way for it.
Three Cheese Grilled Cheese – 5 stars – more than just a grilled cheese. There are a lot of tasty things in there.
Pomegranate Citrus Kale – 5 stars – kill in general makes me sad. Those who are willing to try it said it was refreshing.
The overall four stars are due to be repeatedly disappointing tri tip sandwich and that they are asking me to spend almost $5 on fries

I ordered the smoky barbecue french fries and what I received was a cup of fries with some blue cheese dressing and looks like maybe barbecue sauce squished together in a cup. Menu said melted blue cheese crumbles drizzled with smoky barbecue sauce. Not just false advertising, but hands-down disgusting. I did give it two stars because the black bean burger I ordered was… OK. But just OK. There was ONE jalapeño on it. Thumbs up there. Because that was the only flavor on the black bean burger.
