Runza Restaurants Serving real food requires a real commitment. It all begins bright and early each morning. Instead of serving breakfast, we’re making homemade bread dough from scratch. We’re hand-slicing onions. We’re shredding lettuce for our salads. We’re stirring up homemade chili and fresh ground beef filling for Runza® Sandwiches. It’s a labor-intensive process that doesn’t let up until long after closing time. We know there are easier ways to do all this, but our commitment to doing things the right way is as real as our food, and that’s not something we’re going to change.

Well, I was glad that I got my Runa fix… Stella’s meal….kids chkn strip meal was a 10 of 10… ice cream sandwich was “mid” fries cold and not salted shake was 4/5…….

Anyone from the Midwest knows Runza is a go to in the fast food world and boy are they right! The mushroom and Swiss sandwich and burger are too die for. They have crinkle fries and onion rings but there is more THEY HAVE FRINGS…Fries and onion rings they have dessert options like cones and milkshakes and an amazing strawberry lemonade but come on….$1 .00 cones??? Can’t top them at service either! We will call this our must have for life!

Comfort food! Runza is what I, someone from Texas, would refer to as a Midwest thing. They’re mostly a Nebraska thing, but they also have a couple locations in Kansas and one other state I believe. Anyway, a runza is unique and amazing. It’s ground beef, onion, cabbage, and spices baked into a bun. If you go through NE, and come across a Runza, try it!!! My husband swears they have the best fries as well. We’ve been eating at one Runza or another all across NE for years! This location closes their dining area at 8, so from then until 9:30pm, it’s drive thru only. As a consumer, I was a little bummed they close so early, but for their employees, I guess that’s a good thing. While in Fremont, since we love Runza so much, we ate there a few times. Overall, no issues with service, our food was always hot and we received what we ordered, nothing was ever missing from the bag. We never went inside, so I can’t attest to the cleanliness of the location, but from the drive thru window, nothing negative caught my attention. We will definitely return when we make our next trip to Fremont.

The customer service was some of the best I’ve been shown or given to me and my wife for a long time. The restrooms were clean, the dining area was clean and a relaxed environment. Would most definitely refer people to the restaurant.

Exactly as expected and hoped for. Food and service was good. Since it was 100 outside, it was great to enter a cold building but after 15 minutes of sitting, it kind of got a little chilly.
