Such a lovely sunset evening at this long-established Virginia Beach standard. Do dress up, or at least don’t walk straight off the beach to take part in this lovely dining experience.
Start with the tableside Caesar salad. This is the real thing you can seldom find anymore. You won’t want to miss it.
Be sure to ask for a song. It’s such a lovely addition to an evening meal.
These folks are professionals. The service and food are drenched with heart.
You won’t be sorry.

First time visit. I attended a holiday party. Small office group, 10-15 people. Arrived early at the Holiday Inn on 39th Street. We met a courteous valet attendant and chose to use this service. Free service for those who are dining at Capri, but tip your attendant. We were warmly greeted with smiles at the 6th floor desk. Quickly escorted to our table. As we walked, we were welcomed, in English and Italian, by other restaurant staff members. A very aesthically pleasing decor. Beautiful table settings with large, padded, comfortable chairs. Lots of elbow room. Our servers were truly wonderful. All were very courteous and responsive. Well versed in all menu options. Answered all our questions and provided excellent recommendations. Bread is served before the meal. Let the butter sit for a few moments to allow it to soften up. Add some olive oil. Delicious! No draft beer, only bottle. Order a Stella. Started my dining experience with the Spinach salad. It was just what I wanted. Excellent presentation. Loved it. My guest had the Capri salad. Caesar salads are created tableside, with eggs. No complaints. Ask about the egg before you order. Enjoyed it. My main dish was a broiled flounder. Did not see it on the menu, but server recommended the dish. It was the light meal that I wanted. Each bite melted in my mouth. Excellent choice. For post meal, I added an expresso with a slice of Mozart cake. Loved it. The lamp chops were ordered by many and all plates were emptied. But, lamb chops are small items. Those seeking a more fuller meal may need to add some sides. Several birthdays were being celebrated from all the guests that were dining. The birthday songs were amazing! Sung in English and Italian. Really made our dining experience more enjoyable. Their voices were exceptional. Ask about the payment method before you arrive. No split checks. Menu is fixed for large parties. A truly amazing dining experience.

Awesome night of great food, views and service! Vinny was our serenading waiter with great food recommendations and birthday songs!! We had the table side Caesar, the lemon scheme and pasta with seafood! All were delicious! We snuck in a lemon cake and raspberries jam cake, both awesome! Thanks for a fantastic evening!!

Food was good, no complaints but the service we received was poor. Considering this is an upscale restaurant, I was expecting the service to be as good as their food items.

The server attending our table seemed to be occupied with other things since he didn’t come back to check on us once serving our main meal. We had to ask for him a couple of times.

Amazing place! Worth the price!!

I don’t know how my wife found this place but I’m glad she did!

It’s colocated with a hotel and they have complimentary valet parking!

The restaurant is on the 6th floor and they have their own dedicated elevator. This gives the restaurant seating an amazing view of the beach!!

The waiting room was cozy though on the cold side. Our seat was amazing facing the beach with large windows in on front of us.

The food was really good and they do have a dessert menu, which I find a little weird that it’s not listen on their website.

Fancier place than your average restaurant but the price is reasonable and worth it!

The restaurant offers fantastic food and a beautiful view of the beach. I highly recommend trying the Caesar salad, as watching it being prepared at the table adds a special touch to the dining experience. They also provide excellent bread and butter, and combining it with olive oil and Romano cheese creates a delightful flavor blend. The taste of the Caesar salad was impressive.

We ordered fettuccine, and my son decided to switch the Alfredo sauce for marinara, which turned out to be a great choice. I did, however, make an oversight when ordering the flounder, as I later realized it was a fish dish rather than veal. The fish was great though. The chicken oreganata was tasty too. It would have been helpful if we had been more aware that each order included a side of spaghetti and tomato sauce, as we might have made some substitutions. The pizza was fantastic too. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience with a few minor adjustments that could enhance it further. The next day I discovered that I forgot to use my 10% coupon. Watch out they have a dress code. A truly wonderful “Old World” experience. Fresh Caesar salad made at the table, a jovial and attentive waiter who, yes, had a marvelous singing voice, reasonable prices and excellent food. Definitely worth a visit from anywhere in the Tidewater region.

Went to this restaurant with the party of 3. Reservations are mandatory. They have vallet parking outside the hotel to take care of your car. The location is excellent overlooking the Virginia Beach boardwalk and has great views that the restaurant maximize with large windows and seating. Found the food to be very good. Portion sizes aren’t huge. Our waiter was super friendly however it took us about a half an hour to get drinks and he never asked if we wanted any more. The decor needs a little bit of updating looks like the carpets from the 80s. Speaking of drinks I had a cocktail and it was extremely small and weak for.

So I check multiple reviews and check trip advisor before coming here. On the reviews it sounded great and the food sounded amazing. No dress code is posted on their website, only that a dress code would be enforced. I had the Veal Parmigiano, side of spaghetti, and the chef salad with the pepper corn dressing, my wife had the chef salad with their house italian and meat balls, my son had the peperoni pizza. The veal was very tough and the sauce was bland and same with the spaghetti. My salad was great with the pepper corn dressing but my wife could not finish her salad due to it being so vinegary. My wife said her meatballs were very good but the sauce was bland. My sons pizza was decent at best. I have had better pizza at Mello mushroom. I would not call this a chef quality restaurant more as an over priced olive garden with a smaller menu. Maybe it was just a very off night but i will not be returning.

Isles of Capri on December 21 was perfection. The food was absolutely incredible, but the service truly stole the show. Vinny made the night unforgettable with his exceptional attention, warm energy, and even his amazing singing! He turned dinner into a one-of-a-kind experience. Add in the stunning view, and everything came together beautifully. If you’re looking for more than just a meal this is the place. And if Vinny is your server, consider yourself lucky!
