They are open Tuesday-Saturday 6am-2pm. The original owner’s granddaughter bought it and is keeping it roughly the same with some improvements!!! Fantastic Denver, with the up charge for Biscuits and Gravy, and a hearty helping of taters! Waitresses and the owner herself were extremely pleasant to have talked to. The employees seemed to enjoy being here and didn’t provide fake customer service but actual pleasant human interaction.

If you’re looking for a small town diner that caters to locals and truckers that serves good sized portions at a relatively reasonable price, but that isn’t some sort of national chain or some hip boutique place, then you have found it in El Bambi Cafe and Truck Stop.

I was looking for a good diner for breakfast and the internet had showed me I should go to Crazy Cow. Which honestly looked a little hipper than what I was looking for. But I was delighted to drive past this wonderful diner and stop there instead.

The service was prompt and friendly and the food was very good. The menu is exactly as you would expect, as are the prices – which is unfortunate given this ongoingly bad and unhealthy economy.

I would suggest a little more salt in the potatoes. But otherwise they were cooked very nicely wnd were crispy and enjoyable. The eggs were also done very well. I quite enjoyed the hearty pancakes.

I recommend this place. You should go here.

First time stopping here, you should too!
Conviniently located with a huge parking spot perfect for any vehicle even truckers. Very charming spot I like that it’s not renovated so it still has that retro feel of a Diner. The coffee is good which is really half of the experience for me. Food was great and well priced. The staff was welcoming and very attentive Andrea was very friendly and polite. We’ll definitely come back.

Stopped here and was not disappointed! Family friendly, all the food is made fresh and the best onion Rings I have ever had ❤️ If you’re looking for a decent, cozy place to stop with all the above plus a very clean bathroom look no further!

I am just a visitor. A truck driver from Florida. We drivers get around. I’ve got to tell you, this place is excellent!!! It’s old. Just the way I like it. Don’t get me wrong, the decor is old. The folks that work there have and slow a lot of pride. Excellent food! I had eggs, sunny side up, toast, taters and a side of sausage. Man, you don’t know what you’re missing!! A little gem hidden off the main interstate. More truck parking than a freight train can haul. No excuse not to come here. This is my new ‘go to’ in and out of California. Been at this career now on thirty plus years and, boy have I been missing out!!

My favorite truck stop in Utah! The food, atmosphere and service is always on point. On this visit I had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich – if you get this sandwich, ask them to dip the chicken in red sauce, it’s not on the menu but it’s a local favorite and so good.
My wife got the Philly cheesesteak omelette. I convinced her to let me have a bite and it was probably one of the best omelettes I’ve ever tasted.

Old-style truck stop with very good service that the locals seem to favor as well. Enjoyed the burgers immensely. (IMO Usually good to eat where the people that live there eat.) Place is clean but old and will need an infusion of capital soon if it is to stay viable.
