As a Japanese guest, I found the food here to be more Americanized than authentic. The sushi lacked traditional quality, the ramen noodles were soft rather than bouncy, and the pork was not prepared in the traditional way. After speaking with the owner, I learned that the restaurant is not Japanese-owned and the chefs are of other Asian nationalities, which explains the different approach to the cuisine.
That said, the restaurant itself has a very nice, clean, and modern atmosphere, and I can see its appeal for those looking for a casual, American-style Japanese dining experience. However, if you are seeking authentic Japanese flavors, this may not be the right place.

I had such an incredible experience at Sakari Sushi! I ordered the Otoro special tasting, the Triple Tail Roll, and the Ichiban Roll, and everything was absolutely fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The fish quality here is outstanding—you can truly taste the difference.
One thing that really stood out to me was how careful and attentive the staff was about my shellfish allergy. They went above and beyond to make sure I wasn’t cross-contaminated, which allowed me to enjoy my meal stress-free. That kind of care means so much and shows how much pride they take in both their food and their service.
The atmosphere is modern and welcoming, the presentation is stunning, and every bite was perfection. If you’re a sushi lover (or just want to try some of the best fish around), Sakari Sushi is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Went there last night and the food was so much better than I was expecting. It is definitely a more elevated dining experience regarding their selection of fish. We also had the Heat and Chef’s special roll (no photos bc I forgot) I did notice they did not have “basic” rolls like just the fish in rice and seaweed, theres nigiri,sashimi and speciality fusion rolls. (They have entrees and hot food as well) Jack our server was exceptional he basically curated our entire dining experience from what we had to drink until what we had for dessert and it hit every time. I will 100% be coming back!!!

I was in town visiting friends and we decided to stop in before a movie. Absolutely amazing experience. The sushi was fresh and delicious. Liz was our server and she was super patient with us and very friendly. If you go there definitely ask for her. She’ll take care of you! Next time I’m in town Sakari is definitely a must.

You can tell the difference thanks to their special preparation process, including high-quality freezing methods that are even visible in the restaurant. Totally worth trying!

We have been stopping in for the past few months anytime we are in the area. The food is consistently good, very fresh and the restaurant is cozy & very clean!! We have been lucky enough to have Ricky as our bartender each time we have visited. He is so friendly & his menu item recommendations have been very helpful!! You won’t be disappointed.
