Food was ok. Idk how you can sell BBQ pork and stuff and have no BBQ sauce anywhere in the building. But I drove an hour and spent a good chunk of change on our meals. If I lived closer, Idk, I might would go back. But the price and the drive just isn’t worth it to me

The food was actually really good. They don’t have soft drinks, only tea and lemonade. They also don’t take debit cards, which was s bit of a pain. It was 10 dollars for the dinner, drink, and they had a small dessert selection. My only complaint with the food, is the cake sat out in the air to long, it was not that great. The price was ok considering it was a buffet. I would eat there again.

Less than impressed… BBQ cooked too hot , didn’t shred, it was chopped, only really set up for ” buffet” type dining even thought there is a me u .the menu only really for take out, sweet tea entirely too sweet. Pork wasn’t smoked, but oven cooked

I have not eat here since before covid. The place changed hands.the menu is similar to before but not as good though in my opinion.The price was decent i came in about 1:30 ish. Food not fresh at all.chicken was picked over and dried out as well as the fish .the chopped bbq was good no bbq sauce that i could see in the place though. I didn’t eat the veggies or mac and cheese since i eat low carb so i can not comment on those . Will i be going back? No, i don’t come that way often but i can do without stopping here .

Friendly staff and great food. Love the hush puppies and love rutabagas, especially since I don’t find them many places. Desserts are so-so, but typical for the venue.

Absolutely horrible experience. Owner gave me my order for free after waiting an hour. Thankful for the owner and how they tried to make it right but will not return until they get rid of current “new manager”. She was extremely rude when I kindly asked about my order after waiting an hour patiently. Then after speaking with owner over the phone, the cooks were rude and angry that they had to give me my order after I received a refund. Need to get new staff that know how to treat customers. After paying $64 for 5 plates, I expected service to be friendly. The only friendly person I spoke with was the owner.

The name is actually Bell’s Family Restaurant. The food was delicious, not overly seasoned. Hospitality greeted us at the door and throughout our visit. I recommend giving them a try.

After rating this place on FB, I received a personal message on FB from a sketchy page called “GOOD COOK” and in the message I was practically ridiculed for leaving an unsatisfied review, and they even went as far as comparing them not having normal options (they didn’t have hush puppies or macaroni & cheese at a bbq buffet) to my PERSONAL PANTRY. I’ve attached a screenshot of their message. Very unprofessional. Will NOT return to this place.
