We’ve eaten here before but I don’t remember the protein portion being so small. The sides were delicious and abundant. The sweet tea is to my husband’s liking. However, I can’t say much for the brisket. Not only were the portions small, they were very fatty. My husband, being a brisket fan, thinks it should be tender enough to fall apart. It wasn’t very tender at all. The hot barbecue sauce was very good as well.

I liked the small town atmosphere in a strip mall location. The lady who helped me was the example of Southern hospitality and the brisket sandwich was the best I have ever had in 57 years. It has been added to my places to frequent for bbq.

I was really excited to try this place! The menu has some fantastic concepts! Like the brisket Philly and the brisket sammich with pimento. That’s what we had- the wife had the pimento, I had the Philly, and we shared some nachos. All of which left us less than impressed. The meat was cooked well- very tender- but no flavor. The bark was tasteless and the sauces just didn’t have enough to carry the load. I feel like this place could be good- just needs to kick it up on the flavor with fresher seasonings and a bit more wood in the Southern Pride smoker.

I originally rated Busters a 4/5 and have been there many times for work and regular visits.
The customer service has continued to decline. When I notified them on their survey request about why my experience was not satisfactory, they told me I “should expect to wait.”
I’ve worked in BBQ places in the past and one great thing is the convenience of low prep times, so a brisket sandwich should not take 20 min to make, and they should at least come out chopped when you requested it.
Portions have continued to get smaller and prices increased. Paid over $90 for four people with no drinks. it would have been better spent on groceries.
Im giving the food 2/5 because it wasn’t the worst but it wasn’t par for what they’ve served before. They put slaw next to the buns so the buns were soggy. Meat not trimmed, I Chopped it myself in the picture after trimming it and it was barely enough to fit on a 3″ bun.
Everything needs a good wipe down in there too.
I hope they’ll do better because i want to see small businesses succeed, but I won’t be back.
I gave them a second chance today 5/20/24 and ordered a baked potato with pork. Service is still slower. The potato I received was not washed and there was dirt in the foil.

Excellent BBQ. Did the 5 meat for $25. It was great especially the ribs and the brisket. Sausage was good. It was not cheap. Also did the pimento sandwich, B+. As for sides, baked beans were exceptional, maybe top 3 all time. Mac and cheese was phoned in a bit. Potato salad was a strong B+. Sauces were good. No utensils or napkins in the togo bag. I’d go back.

Definitely a place I would go back to. We ended up there because 2 other restaurants we looked at where closed which ended up working in our favor. A small BBQ restaurant with a variety of food and sauce options. Food was decently priced and portioned. Sweet Tea is good. Sides all looked great. The coleslaw tasted like it had granulated sugar dumbed and mixed into it but that may not be the norm. It is a small restaurant with limited seating for large parties. The staff was nice but can get overwhelmed during rush times. All food options that our party tried looked and tasted great. If you like pepper, try the white sauce. It was great. I would not mind stopping in again if I am in the area.

Overall pretty good, but I think the ribs could have been smoked a little while longer so that they really fall off the bone. But besides that, the Mac and cheese and fries were great.
