Came for a weekend trip with be girls. A nice local invited us in to help us find other bars to stop by throughout the night. The two female bartenders made fun of us girls with fellow guests. Had horrible attitudes and allowed a grown man to make fun of us and encouraged it, while joining in. Disgusting behavior by two adult women complaining about getting business and starting an unnecessary verbal argument.

Went there on the 22nd of February, the owners birthday celebration. The singer and the atmosphere were awesome. The bartenders were friendly and top notch.Not to crowded. The drinks were awesome and reasonably priced. Even danced with my fiancee to a special requested song. Check it out soon.

The pit has always existed in some form or another since I’ve been in Carolina Beach but I guess it is owned by Buzz’s Roost now. This your standard issue hole in the wall beach bar that has character! Locals abound here and it’s worth checking out in my opinion. Its more of a place to just chill out and enjoy a drink and not nearly as crazy as some of the other establishments in walking distance.

Jessica the bar tender was fabulous!! We had so much fun!! Live music and all! Very welcoming environment, games and such to do. We kept trying to bar hop and kept ending back up here, 10/10 recommend!

On vacation so we went out to have a drink and hear live music. The bartenders weren’t particularly friendly to me. My husband ordered my drink, a Mai Thai which I thought was an easy everyone should know cocktail for a beach town. It was a poor choice but aside from that they seemed put out for having to look up a recipe. It was a dead night and the entertainment had to take a “peepee” he said so we only heard a couple songs which is cool too. My drink was god awful so I tried to make polite conversation and ask the bartender if she knew a good beach drink which she condescendingly answered that she orders a dirty martini with top shelf vodka and doesn’t drink such sugary beverages. What a bummer of an evening..

The bar staff is extremely nice and the food is excellent. They have half price bar on Tuesday nights during the off season. And the karaoke night is a blast on Thursday nights.
