The server seemed nice, but she wasn’t very knowledgeable about the food. We asked if the guacamole had dairy in it, and she wasn’t sure but agreed to check. I asked her a little while later, and she had clearly forgotten the question. She thought for a second and told me it didn’t have dairy in it, but did not give me much confidence it wasn’t a made up answer.
The food was marginal. It wasn’t overly expensive, but wasn’t much to write home about either. I ordered vegetarian fajitas with no dairy (i.e no sour cream, cheese, and avocado instead of guac if they normally use sour cream or something in their guac). Grilled fajita veggies are pretty easy, and they were pretty good. The rest was pretty bland.
My wife ordered the Burrito Especial Vegeteriana, and she hated it. Also her margarita had a funky taste to it we couldn’t identify. I tried it and agreed there was something off about this. Checked with friends who were there four weeks ago, and they thought the same thing – avoid the margaritas.
Overall we weren’t completely grossed out or anything, but not much reason to go back.
