To the people giving less than 5 stars are tripping. This place is lit with game cubes, ps2s, Xbox 360 and affordable alcohol. They have jailbroken systems so they have a lot of niche titles.
A lot of charm to this spot and this place is for the love of the game

Great local spot to build community and have great food. Feels like an old school spot from the 80’s. Beams with nostalgia with both old and new pop culture radiating from wall to wall. The food is amazing, and the owner is really personal and friendly. I always want to go here and recommend it to friends old and new. If feels like no wait for good when you can play a game or watch a Marvel, DC, or SyFy film while the food being prepared. And the food is next level. Highly recommend to anyone moving into the neighborhood or visiting from out of town.

Is this place a bit of a mess? Yes. Does it seem like the menu was written with the typical stoner in mind? Absolutely. Is this place unabashedly a good time? For sure.
The games are free and there are tons of them, the food is delicious and the price very affordable. I’ll be back, but next time with my own controller 😉

It’s a cool place with our school video games. I can definitely see this as a cool hang out. The food is decent, but I will say it was actually better years ago. It was quite warm in there, I would love it if the AC was cooler.

You will feel like a kid when coming to this place! Loved the food, the games, the atmosphere, the decorations, the staff. The guy even let me get the table I had reserved through Groupon even though I was having problems with it. I got to play Duck Hunt again after so many yeaaaaaaaaaars. Definitely took me back to my childhood haha
We had a great time!

This place is sort of a weird mix of things. Its a diner slash bar. Video arcade gamer lounge. It has a great selection of burgers and and alcohol drinks. The sellection of vintage video games that you can play here number in the hundreds. There is also a gamer nite where you can get together with friends and play video games. The is a large HD tv that is usually playing some science fiction based movie. The food is really good too. They also have comic books.Overall a very pleasant experience. There are 2 touchscreens that you use to order now, one for cash only and the other for credit cards only. Other than that nothing has really changed.

It’s been a minute (like 5 years) I last visited and it’s nice to see Action Burger alive and well. It’s almost like hanging out in your basement, just with better food, drinks and video games. I’m definitely going to try to convince my better half to come along next.

This place is mostly disappointing. It’s way too cramped and I only went with a party of 3. The machines that were available didn’t work. When I asked for some help, it took 15 minutes for someone to attend to the machine and when they reset it, they never actually checked to see if it turned back on. They want it to be self serve but with controllers scatter all over the place and unlabeled, it’s really hard to do so. The other clientele also dampened the experience. A single party was taking up seating in other tables by leaving their things there. It was difficult to get comfortable.
The food was mostly good at least. Nachos weren’t good, but my chicken sandwich and my friends burger was good. I liked the milkshakes as well.
I wanted to enjoy this place, but unfortunately I won’t be back.
UPDATE: This is to reply to the owner. Reading the instructions didn’t help with “no signal”. The computer was off. If the instructions said I could flip open the cabinet and hit the power button myself I would have handled it myself. There weren’t any PS2 controllers next to the PS2, just a PS3 controller that wasn’t connecting to anything. The only other controllers nearby were the Switch controllers on the bar and a plethora of 3rd party controllers. To be constructive, maybe have a proper place next to the consoles for the customer’s to put the controllers away when they’re done? That would be easier for customers and surely for management too. I understand things were busy and that staffing was low but why does someone in the kitchen need to come out to help with the machines? That’s a problem. I understand you were busy and stressed, and that’s fair considering everything you were doing but that’s still going to affect people’s experience.

I popped in with my frimd for his birthday after having a few drinks somewhere else. I wanted to grab a few more, play games, and get him a dessert. We approached the bar but the bartender directed us to the kiosk to order. We ordered and found a game to play while we waited (it was tucked in a corner). There were only 3 other people in the room playing something else. The bartender brought out the brownie with ice cream We ordered but just left it on a random table without calling out or looking for us. It was goopy mess when we got it and the brownie was stale with melted ice cream. The guy didn’t apologize or anything. He just shrugged and played a game by himself.
