First time here for my husband and I, we saw it on TV, eat like a local and the atmosphere and food looked so delicious. We live two hours away and decided to come and try this place. It was worth the drive. They had outside seating but we sat inside and it was very beautiful atmosphere but they had it cold in there , should have brought my jacket.Every where I go , I have to try the there margaritas , They didn’t have frozen margaritas so I got it on the rocks. It was good.We order an appetizer, we got chicharrones with queso, OMG they were so delicious. Nice and fresh and crunchy, yummy .My husband ordered the pork chop, he doesn’t like pork chops but he saw it on TV and had to try it, this place changed his mind about liking it. This chip was so big and juicy, you can not stop eating it. Everyone needs to try this. I got the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes potato and macaroni. OMG, another dish to try. It was big and juicy with lots of flavor. The owner was very nice person and greeted her customers along with the manager that was there.Very lovely people. I been telling my friends about this place and I know you will too! We will be back soon to try other things on the menu or just to stop by to pick up those chicharrones with queso when we are heading to San Antonio for a snack on the road.

This was our first time to visit. We live near HTown.
The food was hot and yummy. Fried pickles, ribs and Chicken fried steak.
The CFS was one of the best I’ve had. The meat was tender and not gristly. The gravy was too peppery for me though.
The atmosphere is small town at its finest. Everyone seems to know everyone. It’s cute.
But the noise level is LOUD. I mean, you can’t hear your spouse talking to you from across the booth table. There was live music. The singer was great. But everyone was yelling over the music and the music was loud over the yelling…..you get the idea
Karla was our server. She was perfect. Professional and friendly.
We will return and have told friends about it already.

Saw this on ‘Eat Like a Local ‘ and decided to go for our anniversary.
Everything was great!
Definitely recommend the queso and chicharones and the goat cheese salad as starters.
We tried the CFS, which was perfect! Thick cut, not greasy, hearty & delicious! My hubby looked at it and said it was too big so he’d have to take half home…then ate it ALL.
Also ordered the wood-fired bone-in pork chop with a Texas Twinkie add-on. Melted in my mouth. The Twinkie was HUGE. Great smoky flavor in the brisket

Can’t say enough about this place! Loved it!

A hidden gem in Sealy. We have a friend who lives in Hempstead, we live in Richmond and we are always on the spy for somewhere to eat – that is halfway. This place is great! Casual rustic atmosphere. The restaurant used to be a feed store, and the rugged vibe still exist. We ordered 2 apps and 3 entrees- all delicious! I ordered the lasagna. It was huge! Literally enough to feed 3 people. Our server Mercedes was a lovely young woman with attentive service and good recommendations. We sat outside and Mercedes checked on us often and gave us a history of the location. A local Sealy girl with a beautiful personality and charm, made our dinner – all the more special. Will definitely return.

Great atmosphere, great music, great service, and our dinner was outstanding. I was a little disappointed because they were out of salmon but their meatloaf was a good substitute. Their Mac and cheese was off the chain and I am particular about mac and cheese. My honeys steak was excellently seasoned and cooked to perfection. Shout out to Tiffany aka Karla, great job young lady! And dont forget to look up FPU (Financial Peace University) and Familylife Weekend to Remember. I would however recommend them getting a new supplier for green beans. They were very stringy.

Absolutely delicious. Our waiter, Adrian was excellent. We enjoyed the Texas Twinkies, it was loaded with brisket. My husband had the Chicken Fried Steak, he said it was very tasty and fried to perfection. I had the grilled chicken which was tender and so big to finish in one sitting. To top it off, the peach crisp was yummy. It is an hour from Houston on I10. Anyone traveling on I10 should stop. Good eats!!!

You walk in expecting a tavern. Fire. Flavor. Maybe a little swagger.

The chicken fried steak shows up and for a brief, shining moment, hope flickers. Crisp crust. Solid texture. The kind of plate that says, “Yeah, we know what we’re doing.”

Then the gravy hits.

Not gravy. Not really. More like a thin, confused puddle that wandered onto the plate and forgot its purpose. Pale. Watery. Drifting across the steak like it’s apologizing for existing. If you’re going to pour something over fried beef, it better have backbone. This didn’t.

And the service?

You ever feel like you interrupted someone just by sitting down? Like your table personally offended the room? That was the vibe. Long waits. Short patience. The kind of energy that makes you debate whether asking for a refill is worth the emotional cost.

It’s not a disaster. It’s worse. It’s almost good.

One solid component fighting uphill against thin gravy and thinner enthusiasm. Fix the sauce. Fix the attitude. Oh and the best part my wife asked for a manager he won’t come she can see him hiding making excuses to the host .

We arrived in town for work and went to Hinze’s at lunch as it was near the hotel and went couldn’t check in yet. For dinner tonight we discovered Wolf Pack. While waiting for my coworker I checked out some reviews and menu. The place was not packed, we were seated in the front area right away. I had some exceptionally great ribs (1/2 rack) and a loaded baked potato. We shared some boudin ball appetizers. The service at our table seemed to be a bit slow. I thought maybe there was a large party in the back bar area keeping the servers occupied but when I got up and looked it wasn’t super busy back there either. Anyway, the food was great!!
