This just may be our new favourite place. My husband, myself and adult son ordered different menu items, everything was FANTASTIC! Our server was amazing, food was delicious We will definitely return when we are in Sarnia.

We held a surprise birthday party mid November 2025 at Stoke’s Side Pockets . Great experience . 50 people and still lots seating. Bar and waitresses were helpful polite efficient. Mike the owner guided our food choices and he was spot on with his recommendations . Everyone complimented the quality of the food . Location easy to find with ample parking .

We ladies have been to your restaurant several times and lately each time we came we had to wait for our food well over a half hr for our dinner and when it finally came it was luke warm and veggies cold. This past friday we never got out for one and a half hour. We are agroup of 6 ladies that have enjoyed your restaurant but that may now change. Stopped in for dinner since we were just across the street at the mall.
I was craving some kind of sandwich & when I checked the menu before going I saw they had a Turkey dinner sandwich! So immediately yes.
It was before the dinner rush so there was zero wait. Our waitress was OUTSTANDING!! Loved her so much.
The food was great! A couple minor things. Didn’t love the gravy at all which could have been a disaster since I got a Turkey dinner sandwich. BUT. The sandwich was SOOO good all on its own! I love how they put the cranberry mayo and gravy on the side so it wasn’t a sopping mess! Even without the gravy the sandwich wasn’t dry at all. It was still so delicious! Their fries are so crispy & delicious too!!! With a good brown gravy they would have a killer poutine.
My son had the pizza & enjoyed it very much.
Husband had wings, which were delicious too. They were nicely sauced up, but a couple of them were really small so they were a bit over cooked. But over all he enjoyed them!
We loved the different options they offered. Lots of menu items you don’t typically see in a pub! It was a great experience and we will definitely be back!

Very Disappointing that we chose this location for the menu that is clearly headed with “Gluten Free” when it is in-fact not. All items are made with a shared fryer/cooking space making them unsuitable for people with celiac or an allergy. Thankfully the server did make this known and was apologetic for the misunderstanding; but it does not negate the fact that people who need truly gluten free food often choose a restaurant based off of online menus to make sure they are able to enjoy a meal and this particular online menu makes no mention of shared fryers or preparations.

if I could give the service more than five stars I would. My friend Dave had never been to Stokes and I had not been there for years. Debbie was our waitress and with a bit of humour mixed in with her professionalism and efficiency, she made us feel relaxed and comfortable immediately. Dave had the soup, ribs, fries and cole slaw, and I had the salad, ribs and chicken tenders, baked potato, mixed vegetables and salad. Debbie checked on us just enough while we were eating. We were both very happy with all aspects of the experience and shall return soon.

Not bad, wasn’t busy at all but still felt understaffed. Service was great though. Food arrived quickly and was hot. Everything tasted good but anything with bacon, including the ceasar salads were overloaded with bacon and overpowered by it’s flavor. A little goes a long way

Got the wings and nachos, don’t know what’s on them they were absolutely fantastic!! The atmosphere was amazing! Next time we are in sarnia this is were we are stopping for a meal!
