Great atmosphere, attentive service, and generous portions. We tried the Bolognese and the Chicken Milanese with marinara pasta. Sadly, the pasta was overcooked rather than al dente, as it should be, disappointing for an Italian restaurant. Hopefully it was just an off day.

Very disappointed. This is the first time I’ve ordered from them, and it was expensive. The soup was cold, the pasta was completely unpleasant, and had no flavor and color . The only thing I thought was edible was the bread. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. Even my dog refuses to eat

Consistently great food. Owner is warm and welcoming. Always checks in with customers to ensure his high standards of quality food preparation have been met. Huge portions. Best Italian Wedding Soup ever! Especially crowded on Saturdays, but quaint and comfortable atmosphere. Has a liquor license. You’ll be glad you went.

I can’t speak about the pizza or sandwiches. We both ordered a full dinner, maybe that was our mistake?
First time here, noticed place could be much cleaner from floor to tables to utensils. Sat us at a table with crumbs everywhere? No one can see ?
Plate had old food residue too.
Employees setting table don’t notice? Our waitress was very pleasant and busy.
Hopefully she will move on to a good restaurant? She deserves better.

Outside appearance needs attention, weeds need be gone. Sometimes outside presentation tells the story.
Salad was very fresh and good. Potatoes and vegetables were done nicely, good.
Bread and dipping oil mix good.
But the main entrees, poor quality, pasta way overdone, mush, chicken very bland and prosciutto was thick and rubbery.
Sauce on both dishes were ok.
Hardly any cheese or spinach.
It was like a regular diner who does not regularly serve Italian, trying to make It . Some diners are really good though which would be better than this.
Definitely a miss and won’t go back. Waste of money.

This was my first time trying La Bella Via and we were pleased. Warm and friendly restaurant with a classic decor. Large dining area in two rooms and a nice full bar with seating as well. Nice menu with a good variety to please everyone, and nightly specials. We went with the chicken francese and the salmon Italiano. Both meals came with your choice of soup or salad and choice of pasta . They bring out delicious warm freshly baked rolls with dipping oil on the side and butter as you wait for your meal, which we enjoyed. Service is fast and friendly and both meals were very good and made with fresh ingredients, and the portions were large and filling. Nice dessert menu with after dinner drinks. The atmosphere is warm and inviting in a comfortable laid back setting. Easy access from 22 or main st with ample parking in the front or behind the restaurant. Nice restaurant for holiday gatherings, special events and family get togethers. Prices are fair and you get your money’s worth. Looking forward to returning and trying other menu options as well as their pizza. We enjoyed the meal and service.

The food is fantastic! The ravioli and ve and the sauce are great. The mussels are always fresh and done just right. Don’t forget the garlic bread, it is made with big pieces of real garlic and nice and crusty!!

My cousin took me out here for my birthday and we didn’t have a reservation, but I bet their back room is nice. I was seated quickly and service was prompt. I thought about getting the aglio e olio with a side of sausage, but ended up getting the broccoli rabe and sausage pasta~it seemed a little water logged to me, but my cousin says broccoli rabe has a lot of moisture. His penne vodka looked great.

Other customers ordered pizza and it looked and smelled good.

Food was great. Shrimp and scallops pasta was awesome. Expresso Martini was the bomb. Portion sizes were huge.
Great atmosphere. This was suggested by a good friend. We had an amazing time and will be back again soon.
