Vermont Chef-of-the-Year, Edward St.Onge, CEC, & his wife, Nancy, opened their restaurant in Oct. of 2014. In addition to a full bar with craft cocktails, VT draughts & wines-on-tap there is an extensive & varied dinner menu and award-winning wine list. Everything is made in-house from fresh ingredients. The lush salad will be served family style and is included with all dinner entrees! Aged Black Angus western beef, fresh seafood, pork chops, poultry, oysters, and more. Upscale dining for the whole family in a relaxed atmosphere – a tavern with 4 HD tv’s, elegant, casual dining room & pet-friendly patio. We have Taproom Favorites, like burgers. The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. It was very underwhelming for the price that’s for sure. The restaurant itself is quite nice. The service for their lack of is a huge problem. At the end of the day maybe you said the barn have a burger sometime if he had nowhere else to go. Look for the money it cost to eat there and what you’re given , no chance I’m going to make plans to go there.

I don’t want to say good things about this place because I don’t want it to be busy when I go to Ravens. All joking aside this is the best restaurant I’ve been to. I’ve been to a lot of Europe and a lot of America but when I think where I want to go for a great meal and great atmosphere I think of Ravens. Last Saturday I went again via snowmobile and Shawn the bar tender/server was great. I’ve only been to Raven via snowmobile but I intend on making the almost 2 hour drive to bring my wife. That’s how good this place is.

My fiance has been wanting Beef Wellington. I reach out to the restaurant since it wasn’t on the menu and they were happy to accommodate our special request. Crispy Brussels for an appetizer, peach martin for the drink and a 12oz NY Strip med/rare, and Shrimp Scamp. All of it was so good would definitely recommend and hopefully will be back. Great place to stop if your in Vermont. Staff and Atmosphere was great.

We were really looking forward to our special dinner here however it didn’t turn into the best experience. Working in a restaurant myself I usually give a lot of leeway and understanding. We were sat in a timely manner and our younger male server came over quickly, we placed our order for drinks and appetizers and food. Our appetizer arrived quickly but still no drinks, was hard to grab the attention of our server. once our dinner arrived not coming the way we placed it and still no drinks we addressed it to the server, decided to no longer get drinks from the bar just a soda, and our sauce was missing. The sodas arrived with no syrup. The sauce for my steak arrived cold. We never received a check back and my filet was rare almost inedible I had ordered medium. We asked for boxes I figured I would just reheat it later, but for a $58 filet of beef we were far from impressed. The servers job is to have us leave on a happy note, we received the bill and addressed that the price was wrong for the filet, showed $63. His response was we must have gotten a wrong menu, just an excuse because both my husband and my menu said the same price “well I can fix the price if you want” well yes! Instead of offering any compensation or even a SORRY which would have gone a long way with us he said nothing. Even when trying to pay there was no rush on cashing us out, as a server myself I think this place needs better training in place or a manager to stop by the table checking in. Sadly on a special night for us we were extremely disappointed we get people and places have bad days but it’s all in how you address it.

We were lucky to get in right as it opened! Staff was incredibly nice and attentive. The inside of the restaurant was quite cozy and decorated nicely. My coconut martini was so delightful I had to order 2 of them. Our potato skins and crab cakes were cooked to perfection and made with love. Entrees were great too I tried the weinersnitchel for the first time. The only negative is that it was quite salty, but I won’t really hold it against them too much. To top it off ordered the caramel brownie, to put it plainly it was divine. Would for sure recommend this place, although keep in mind it is pricey!

We stopped in this weekend without a reservation and were seated immediately. The atmosphere was nice and the service very attentive. We both had the wienerschnitzel. It was my first time having this dish and it was excellent. So well done. My cocktail was great as well. Highly recommend!

Cozy place! This definitely feels like a very homey restaurant with the way staff interacts with each other and guests.
Wait time was a little long but honestly it didnt bother me too much and I’m on vacation I dont need to be rushed on anything! I’m gluten free and our server Chris was very knowledgeable about what was already gluten free or could be made gluten free. Overall a good time either for a meal or just to sit at the bar for appetizers and drinks

Went with friends to the Raven’s Den and when had a really great experience. The food was exceptional and the service very good. I had the surf and turf, my friend the seafood medley and the ladies the Venuschnitzel. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
