Staff greeted us at the door. We were treated like family. This was the BEST fried chicken I’ve ever had! The gizzards are delicious. The honey butter biscuits are soft with light sweetness, so good.

It’s a small place at the truck stop with a walk up counter and some booths for seating. It’s the only place I know of at this time that offers fried chicken livers (and gizzards). If you get there at busy times, like lunch, and get them fresh, they are SO good. I also love the chicken tenders. Portions are generous. I’ll go out of my way to go here when I find one. I was very disappointed when the one at exit 52 near Lexington, SC was replaced with a pizza place, since I had to pass there on a semi regular basis. The only thing I would say to Chester’s is be sure to keep those livers FRESH, because they dry out if they stay in the stream table too long!

First timer. Stoped for fuel and wanted to have a quick bite . Had a 2 piece fry. Was so normal. They don’t have a spicy version like other shops. It was bland and not that hot. Couldn’t eat more than 1 . Average . Customer service was also average . Will not try in future

Very expensive gas station chicken. Definitely not better than Crispy Kruncy Chicken right down the road. Since this is a truck stop the prices are outrages. Customer service was non existent at this location.

I would never go here again,my older brother bought some chicken tenders from here and im really dissapointed,the tenders were a pretty good size but had hardly any flavor,not to mention i kept finding little and long hairs in the box and even on my tenders.because of seeing all the hair i didnt even give the mac n cheese a chance,tho i will say that the biscuit was delicous and i would eat it again but everyrhing else was mid

I understand it’s located inside of Love’s gas station and competes with McDonald’s in the same building but a day old hotdog from that fell between the rollers over night would have been a better choice. The food looked decent enough and the server taking orders was respectful, polite, and friendly. The chicken was cooked fully and looked beautiful but tastes like ash and the Mac and cheese is creamy and hot just undercooked and flavorless.

Worst food ever my chicken had blood in it still and my Mac and cheese has black hairs in it And one of the worker’s told me that the health inspector came out because they had mold in the food and that the boss is always talking bout the worker’s on 1st shift how bad they are and that she is hiring all new people so she can get all the ones on 1st shift gone it’s just a nasty drama place!!!!
