The guy that seats you and serves you will come off a bit brash but he’s okay. If you don’t know what’s on the menu you kind of have to order it and then just figure out if you like it or not. There’s no explanation next to some of the items. It’s really good food. I tried to get the tea a couple of times but when I ask about it dude has no interest in explaining it. He did stop me from ordering it after I said that I have a dairy allergy so that’s good. Be ready to order quick and he’s going to drop the bill before you finish LOL. Again, it’s a good place though. Enjoy!

JUST DONT! Either the place is under new management or they are going under. I’m not sure which one, but they are cutting every corner they can think of. Up to and including giving customers rancid, old, stale, or mystery food that can make people sick.
I have frequently gone to this restaurant for YEARS. The service from the head waiter (an older Asian gent) was always pretty tense and rude until the end or middle of you service ( depending if he felt like rushing you out today). That’s when suddenly he’s all smiles and jokes for a tip he WILL try to softly guilt and bully you into. Despite this the food overall was great with large decently priced plates, but I really stayed for the Buns (Baked Pork and pineapple). It’s been about 6 months since I’d been there, so I was excited to go back to get all our favorite foods again.
The moment we go is it is an absolute ghost town. We go in, look around, and see no one. We just seat ourselves, and about 5 minutes later the head waiter comes over sets menus down and we place drink orders and look over the food. We order drinks, baked pork buns, pineapple buns, cashew chicken, house fried rice, and sticky pork rice in lotus leaf.
The ALL Pork sticky rice had weird random bits a chuck of chicken and a chip of sausage. I was told they do it like this now. The rice had ZERO flavor and the cashew chicken was a huge plate of veg drowning in rancid brown/grey sauce with dry chicken and mushrooms shreds sprinkled in. The only good park were the pork and pineapple buns and half of those were burnt.
We didn’t touch the overcook rancid chicken or that lotus leaf stuffed with random muck and went so far as to try to return it multiple times. When it came time to leave hungry and unsatisfied I refused to pay for the cashew chicken and lotus leaf. I totaled everything we kept in front of the manager he printed me a new receipt and accepted. I paid $50 for everything else ( 3 drinks, 2 pork bun, 1 pineapple bun, and House fried rice) with exact change. The manager accepted payment, put it in the till, GAVE ME A RECEIPT but then tried to keep us from leaving. He wants us to pay for the other stuff too still. When I refuse he decides to curse us out instead and argue instead.

Absolutely amazing! S&R Dim Sum is a true hidden gem. The food is incredibly flavorful each bite packed with authentic taste and quality. The dumplings? 100% awesome. Perfectly steamed, juicy, and bursting with flavor. You can tell everything is made with care and tradition. Highly recommend this place if you love real-deal dim sum. Can’t wait to come back!

Because of Easter it was one open dim sum place on our way home. Restaurant looks pretty nice, food was delicious. I liked the most baked pork bun, pineapple and egg custard bun and next one my favourite is pork and shrimp shumai. And my boyfriend also enjoyed the pineapple bun the most. He wouldn’t recommend the beef short rib since it was chewy. The server was timely and very helpful.
Table was not properly set up since we only had one napkin and one chopstick for 2 people. And restroom had super dirty mirrors.

The food are sooo good. Havent had a really good chinese food like this, for a while. The prices are actually cheap for the servings ( big ) that you get. Our favorite right now! Will definitely recommend and wont mind the drive to keep coming back. Dont believe the comments about the server,
He was attentive and respectful.

Tried to eat food there today, the older Asian waiter was SOOOOO RUDE. I kindly asked where the restroom was and before I could finish my sentence, he says “behind the curtains” like okay. Whatever. I come out, we order drinks, he comes back, SNATCHES the menu from my super friendly 5 year old. We order 3 or 4 items and I ask him to leave a menu in case we order more to which he rudely tells me that if I choose to order more, it may be 30- 40 mins per item, because they were sooooo swamped with uber eats orders and what not. Idk about that, there was literally one 4 top table in the restaurant and us. After that, we simply got up offered to pay for our drink and left. I’ve worked in the service industry for several years so we really tried to stick it out, but this guy was so unkind I didn’t even want to stick it out for the food. I’ll never attempt to come back, seems wild to push away people when your restaurant is so empty

never rlly write bad reviews but the older asian guy was rude and told us to sit and wait on our food (just ordered one appetizer to go) and ~20mins go by and i ask where the food is and its already bagged and ready he was just sitting there watching something on his phone. He realized this and switched up and gave us our food with a smile. Glad i didn’t sit down here. Other guy who did boba was very kind though and got us our food.

Amazing authentic Dim Sum. That is the bottom line. Tastes are very rich in flavor. The portions are great for our family of 5. We ate well and it was about 100 dollars with tip. The staff is a bit lite so wait is expected but well worth it. So enjoy the family time while you wait for food.

My wife went there for lunch with her coworkers and the server Don was incredibly rude! My wife wasn’t that hungry and just wanted an appetizer. He was condescending and gave my wife a hard time about just getting an appetizer. So she said fine let me see a menu and his response was “Well it’s gonna take at least 20-30 more minutes and there are three orders in front of you!” In a way that was rude and demeaning. I will never come to the restaurant!!
