I have only had the breakfast end of their sweet-treats here at Blue Bonnet thus far. First off, the staff is super friendly and everything looks nice and clean. The old church they are in is so cool. The tiny upside apple monkey bread things (no idea what they are called, but pictured) are their Magnum Opus. Absolute perfection. The rest of their breakfast treats are pretty darn good also. The donuts are not what you would expect from a normal donut shop so don’t expect the same thing, still pretty good though. Bonus, their prices are fantastic. In this economy its nice to still find a deal out there. I’ll be back to try more 100%

I had come for a petit 4. Unfortunately, they were out, as they normally are because petit 4s are very popular there. When Mena heard about my predicament, she went into back to look for more and let me buy one that she had found. It was very kind and made my day! Also the pastries are amazing and a very cute atmosphere

Amazing bakery and a hidden gem of Fort Worth. They did an amazing job of my graduation cake back in 2019 and for my wedding of 5/2025. Their white cake with cherry filling is the BEST cake I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place for special occasions and the atmosphere is beautiful it’s an old church remodeled from way back when. Service was great and packaging was great!

Ordered a custom cake and we loved how easy and affordable it was! The cake decorators did a great job making something similar to our inspiration pictures and it tasted delicious. The bakery looks really cool, too. Any small issues that came up were easily resolved

The legend itself. A Fort Worth landmark that makes Fort Worth feel like home for anyone who has ever lived here. You simply cannot go wrong with anything you order. Everything is delicious. The only downside is that their renowned popularity amongst the locals means they can sell out of their best items rather quickly, and because of their commitment to making everything from scratch and fresh every day, you can arrive to find your favorite items are already sold out. Not to worry though; there’s always a wonderful substitute somewhere behind the counter. My personal favorites are their apple fritters; do me a favor and save me one if you go here and see that they’re running low 😉

I visited Blue Bonnet Bakery with plans to try their sandwiches, sample a few baked goods, and soak in the ambiance, especially since the place is housed in a repurposed church.
I love how they’ve preserved the church vibe. The entrance still has that “churchy” feel, the booths are made from pews, and you can even sit on the stage next to the beautiful stained glass windows. It’s a very cool atmosphere. The crowd seemed to mostly be locals, which is always a good sign in my book—if the locals are there, it must be a solid spot. While many were picking up baked goods, there were plenty of people enjoying lunch as well.
Since “bakery” is in their name, my expectations were high, and I wasn’t disappointed. They offer a wide variety of cookies, and their cakes and pies looked absolutely tempting. We tried a good mix of cookies (more than half a dozen!) and each one tasted homemade and delicious.
As for the food, it was good but not extraordinary. My husband and I both went for the half-sandwich combo. I had the chicken salad on homemade white bread with a side of vegetable soup, while he had the turkey club on homemade seven-grain bread, paired with house-made chips. It was all tasty, but nothing to write home about. I wish they offered lattes instead of just filter coffee, but that’s just me loving lattes.
The service, however, was fantastic. The staff was friendly, attentive, and very patient as I took my time selecting cookies. They really added to the welcoming vibe of the place.
I’ll definitely be back, mostly for the baked goods and excellent service. Can’t wait to try even more cookies next time!

So disappointed today with my visit to the bakery. 1st off I come every year to buy my valentines treats for grandchildren teaches. I have 7 grandchildren. So I like to make a bb bakery treat bags for about 14 teachers. I normally get 24 cupcakes and 50 cookies to make my valentines for all of the teachers and grandchildren. It was around 4:30 ishh. Everything i was picking the young girl would SCREAM what. So after 3 screams I was over it. I left. I will not go spend at least 500 on bakery items to be screamed at. Found a sweet lady down the street at a cookie store and is making my order. Unbelievable Blue Bennett.

Thank you so much. There wasnt a peice of cake left at our 250th Navy Ball. The cake was beautiful and didn’t break the bank. So appreciative of your efforts. Definitely will recommend you in the future.

I came in about 7:30 and asked the young girl if the almond crunch were fresh as there was only a quarter tray full and she had quite the attitude for asking that question and said yes they were made this morning. They clearly were not or the tray would have been full. I buy these all the time and these were crunchier than they usually are. I was also overcharged for 6 of those and 6 sand tarts at $ 5.99. I usually pay $5.00.
Fix your customer service or I won’t be returning.

Service was amazing! Bo was so helpful with describing cakes and answering all my questions. The chocolate cake did not taste very chocolaty, however the icing did and was great. The Italian cream cake was superb!! Highly recommend.
