Horrible way too much salt. What is wrong with people and all the salt. Never again will I eat that food. Why would I call when I complained about all the salt in the food. Just go try it. I about vomit on that food. The potatoe salad tasted like mayo and salt. I order a jalapeno and cheese sausage got whatever that was. The chop brisket had too much salt. So far it’s the worst BBQ I ever had. I’m very disappointed cause people said it was delicious and it wasn’t.

The H.E.B staff was wonderful , especially Maria who helped me cut my fresh lemon tree for my cayenne shot. She even lent me a tray to make my tonic and I was suprised because we don’t get this type of service in New York City love this H.E.B

H-E-B’s BBQ spot was remarkably delicious and I was very surprised by the quality of the brisket. Juicy and savory. I didn’t expect much from them and they really put did themselves and I do recommend that you stop by and grab a plate on your way out EVERYTIME‼️ 10/10 Definitely Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Burnt Ends: Great
La Jefa: Nice flavor
Banna Pudding: Great
Peach Cobbler: OK (probably tastes better warm)

The Jefe: Big portion? I took one bite and almost threw up. It was the combination of textures, the snap of the sausage, meat, and a whole glob of fat. It’s ok, though brisket is fatty. If you don’t like it, get rid of it, right? Not here. About 75-80% of the brisket in the sandwich was fat.
Brisket Nachos: Trying to get rid of the awful mouth feel, the nachos. Can’t go wrong? The sour cream is a lie. Disguising another big glob of fat…. Now, a combination of creamy, cheesey, crunchy, and fat, I gave up on it.
Brisket&Beans: Beans nice taste, nothing crazy. But the brisket yet again was mostly fat….
Overall, there were pretty good flavors. Just try to avoid most of the brisket items unless you are the weird one at the barbecue who likes really fatty slices.

Pulled pork was outstanding! Baked potato with turkey and moist brisket filled up my husband. We loved that we could eat in the store. There was a quiet area with drinks that was so convenient. Would definitely come back again!

I waited over one hour for my food, and then the driver called to tell me the restaurant was sold out. That’s very frustrating and could have been avoided.

We were from out of town and was told to have lunch here. The price for the amount of food was great. The ribs, brisket and sausage were delicious. The creamed corn was ok and so was the cornbread but the brisket beans were great! The service left a little bit to be desired but otherwise very good.
