I miss Thailand…
until I go to Bodhi Thai.
I lived in Thailand for a while and experienced the full range of dining options, from street food to high end cuisine. I also lived in NYC for 10 years and ate at countless Thai restaurants in Manhattan. So it’s fair to say I have a pretty informed opinion about Thai food.
And I have to say that Bodhi Thai is the best Thai food I have had ANYWHERE – full stop.
We have probably eaten there 8 times.
The dishes are authentic but at the same time innovative, and literally everything we’ve had there has been delicious. And the presentation is consistently impressive – the pic below is their Braised Short Rib with Khao Soi curry noodle soup.
Their wine selection is very good, with a number of less-well-known but exceptional options. And their house cocktails are fantastic (and generous)!
The service has been consistently excellent; they’re professional but also friendly and welcoming. We’ve had groups as small as just my wife and I up to a table of 12, and the service has always been superb.
I regret posting this, because it can only make it harder for us to get a reservation. But they deserve every ounce of credit they get…

Such a great spot. The food is off the chain. We had the Duck, Steak and Chicken dishes. However make sure to add in the Brussel sprouts and Pineapple rice as some of the sides. Great wine list at a reasonable price as well.

My husband and I went here for the first time last night. 10/10 experience. The service was excellent, and the food was exceptional. There is so much attention to detail. We had Tom Kha Gai, a house salad with peanut dressing, the steak, and crispy duck. The chef also made a special soup (I believe it was a carrot and pear bisque) that was a delicious bonus. We will be back and highly recommend this intimate and unique restaurant.

Our first experience at Bodhi was wonderful! Everything we had was delicious with amazing flavors! We had Tom Kha Gai soup, the House Salad, Toong Tong and Braised Baby Pork Rib appetizers. Entree’s were Crispy Duck (my favorite) and the Sea Bass. For dessert we had the crème brûlée with coffee ice cream. Drinks were excellent as well and our server Beaver was delightful! We are so excited for our next meal at Bohdi!! I hate that I forgot to bring my phone in for pictures because the plating was beautiful!

Note: we asked this vendor if they had a physical location. The response was Bodhi Thai in Lexington. If this isn’t your business, I’ll remove this review.
1. The honey chili chicken was hard as a rock. It’s apparent that the chicken had been sitting for quite some time. As you can see in the photos, it isn’t made to order. IMO, deep-fried chicken should be made to order.
2. The tapioca/boba used was also rock hard. It being rock hard means it wasn’t made on the same day. The wintermelon drink was decent. I didn’t bother trying to fish the boba at the bottom of the cup.

Excellent food and service. We had four people in our group, one with celiac disease requiring gluten free selections, all was very good. Bodhi has a very good selection of Thai dishes and the same for house cocktails. We had beef, pork, duck, the house soup was phenomenal. Our cost was a little high as we had several drinks too!

We had a 7 o’clock reservation, showed up five minutes before seven. We were told a table would be ready in a few minutes. While waiting we decided to go to the bar to have a drink. While going to the bar a table of 4 sat down and had menus. We were at the bar for 30 minutes still no table. Finally asked somebody have we been forgotten and were told no they were booked they know we’re here. We looked at the table of four that was seated when we arrived and they still had menus no food no drinks. At that point, we decided even if we were seated 30 minutes after our reservation, we would probably be waiting another 30 minutes to place an order and then God knows how much longer for food. We paid our bar bill and left. We did not see the host on our way out. Interesting that they asked us to confirm the reservation, but never noticed us leaving. We went across the street and had a good experience. On a positive note, the bartender was awesome.

The food was good, but small portions for the price. If you prefer savory or sweet food, I would recommend going somewhere else. All my food was a little too sweet for me, but still good enough. Order several things, or you will leave wanting more to eat.

Simply AMAZING! Visited this location while in town for the Masters and this dinner did not disappoint. Ordered the ribs appetizer, Duck dinner, and creme brulee. 10 out of 10. The duck was perfectly cooked and the curry was perfect spice. The mix of textures in the duck meal took it over the top, would highly recommend. Service was great and quick. I originally was planning to go with the steak but the waiter recommended the duck which did not disappoint. If I ever have the chance to attend the Masters again, I know where I am having dinner.
