Absolutely phenomenal! O Bento is hands-down one of the best culinary gems in Humboldt County. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and a sense that this place really cares about quality — not just in food, but in service and vibe too.
The bento boxes are beautifully presented and bursting with flavor — fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully crafted. The karaage chicken is crispy perfection, the salmon is buttery and tender, and the pickled veggies and sauces elevate everything. You can taste the love and precision in every bite.

Although perfect for me… There weren’t a lot of people here… It was prolly the time of day restaurants are always slow this time of day. Food, great, veggie roll. Also tempura prawns… Excited to see this style of dining in the states and in the community…

Well look no further than Obento. Pictures half eaten here is the lemon salmon roll (my favourite). Absolutely tasty, delicious, wonderful, marriageable, all the things to positively describe this sushi. And the staff are super sweet.
You just walk in, pick what you want, pay for it, and be on your way. Or eat it first then be on your way. Either way, Obento is worth every penny!!

Im only leaving this review because the case said 9.99 and the cashier rang two up as $41. idk maybe we read it wrong. Also the excess of fish eggs and the dark brown avocados were a real let down, the taste in general was definitely not worth it. we ended up just getting a bunch of tacos for half the price

Soo bomb!! Quick and easy, they had everything hot and fresh when I walked in. I got the Spicy Tuna roll, chicken karaage, and angry edamame. That edamame spice is no joke! Had to cool it down with a Thai Tea

Literally one of the most hated restaurants I’ve been to in Arcata. Food is simple, hella convenient, still relatively fresh, and they use sustainable materials. Sushis Bomb, the Katsu is my fav. Their atmosphere is a mood and a half, and the staff are always super friendly and gracious. Thank you for the meal! Itadakimasuuuu

I’m not sure what they did, but for the past couple months the food has been either cold or very dried out. I’ve pointed it out multiple times and even asked for the food to be replaced more than once. I’ve noticed it happen to other customers as well. I’m assuming it’s an issue with the food warmers. Please fix it.
