Found this hidden gem today using Google Maps. It was a great little place to have breakfast. The food here was delicious. The service was excellent even though they were very busy. The locals appear to love this place. The biscuits and gravy were really good and surely are made from scratch. The coffee was great too but I am not sure the brand.

Our first time eating at Roosters and it did not disappoint! Amazing home cooked food! The all you can eat fish was some of the best I have ever had. Plus the portions were great! I absolutely loved the cozy, hometown atmosphere. Our waitress was super sweet and did a great job checking on us. We will definitely be back!

If you’re looking for a meal to feel like home. This is the place. Everything made from scratch and it is fantastic. If you’re a foodie this place is a must visit. I don’t think I’ve had such an amazing breakfast. You have to try the “Surprise Breakfast” the chef will throw together a custom breakfast, if you’re not picky, you won’t be disappointed. It’s also very affordable, under $10 per person, to be filled and happy.

Great food and service. The only bad thing Ive ever ordered was the Buffalo Cheese Curds. They should be renamed Habanero Cheese Curds, as they were so spicy hot I ate 2 of them and they were too hot for my dog to eat.

The food is pretty good but the atmosphere is amazing! Great country folk art murals hand painted on the walls give this little restaurant a warm and fun vibe. Drive through some wonderful forest and winding country roads to enjoy thus little gem when you are near Santa Claus Indiana or visiting Marengo Cave.

Simple country diner. Building has a quaint country diner feel and look. Menu has enough choices. Food was good. Jumbo tenderloin is just that! JUMBO. Sweet tea needs to be stronger and sweeter…make it SWEET TEA. Canned sodas available. Service was quick even when busy. Waitress was super. She was taking care of the whole place and doing great at it. Yes I’ll be back. Update… rooster Mac burger was really good, plenty of fries.

Great food in a cozy, country kitchen atmosphere. It’s not hard to find, but not right on 150. Either way, it’s worth a visit if you are passing through or if this is your destination. Friendly service and great burgers! Fantastic Patty Melt as well. Perfect onion rings and waffle fries every bit as good as that Fil A place. Homespun decor without being overbearing like an Applebees. The prices were more than reasonable. And if that weren’t enough, there’s a guard kitteh snoozing on the front porch, just in case you fall asleep on the porch furniture after stuffing yourself with real diner food.

Delicious home cooked food. They were extremely busy when we went and the service was fast and waitress was super friendly. Some of the food was cold, but still very tasty. My mother is a pork tenderloin connoisseur and she absolutely loved it, we will definitely return.
