What a hidden gem! Big Fish delivers big flavor and an even bigger welcome. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm.
The jalapeño hush puppies were the perfect starter—crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, with just the right kick of heat. But the real standout was the honey buffalo fish wings—a creative and unique twist that totally blew me away. Sweet, spicy, crispy, and tender all at once. You won’t find that combo just anywhere!
Bonus: Plenty of parking, which made the whole experience even more stress-free. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area. I’ll definitely be back!

LIKE THAT!! Their Loaded Fries ($12 with shrimp, crab meat, bacon, scallions, queso, jalapeno, & comeback sauce). Tasty, but eat these fast!!
STAMP!! Their Fish Wings ($12 fried jumbo cod with honey buffalo sauce). Well prepared, & seasoned, a sweet, & spicy buffalo sauce!!

Man I ate that food so fast I couldn’t even get a photo of it! I had the Nashville fish sandwich and my gawd!! So delicious 10/10. Definitely a hidden gem and I’m always happy to support a black owned business! I can tell this brother be working hard. Kudos!
Although it’s a good hall aka food court, there is also free underground garage parking which is a plus.

Me and my husband came here and the food was delicious. We got the crab cake sandwich which was so good I would’ve ordered another one to go.The shrimp po boy hush puppies and Mac and cheese was everything and had so much flavor. Would definitely recommend.

Let me start by saying they greeted me nicely an I placed my order through the kiosk. I ordered the small plate that included trout, crab cake, “JUMBO” shrimp and a side (I chose fries) and added an extra side of broccoli. Honestly it all looked like a sampler appetizer plate…the shrimp were not jumbo by any means; crab cake is dry, overcooked, more of a crab cake ball size; trout was just ok it was super thin so not much meat to it & based on the pic on the website I thought it would be fried but it’s grilled and there was no option on the kiosk or website to choose another cook type; the fries were bland and the broccoli just ok. For $30 I was disappointed.

BigFish DMV never disappoints! Everything I’ve tried has been freshly prepared and full of flavor. The Cheddar Jalapeño Hush Puppies were the perfect starter, the Loaded Fries were delicious and hearty, and the Shrimp Not-So Po’ Boy was packed with flavor. The Crabcake Sammich was also a standout—fresh, well-seasoned, and satisfying. Great food and great quality every time!”

Mhm the fish sticks were pretty good, fish sandwich was ok and fries were very bland. However, everything lacked salt or any type of seasoning. Don’t think I’ll order again.

The food here is absolutely delicious and the owner is lovely. We ordered the seafood trawler with the slaw and broccoli, the kids shrimp and rice, and some fries. The seafood was actually delicious (the white fish was a particular surprise- perfectly crispy skin and great flavor). The slaw was awesome, and the broccoli was a really nice additional side. We also ordered the honey buffalo wings- those were unbelievably tasty. The owner was so kind he even threw in a Mac and cheese so we could try it. We’ll definitely be back!
