Pretty decent BbQ actually. Brisket we really solid when we went. There is a cooking fan by the seating area now. I know someone gave a bad review because of no fan but it’s in fact there now. The guys working were friendly and quick. I highly recommend the El Jefe Sandwich. Sliced brisket, sausage, and Cole slaw piled high. It’s a good value as far as bbq is concerned. 10/10 will be back!

We travel all over Texas 8 months out of the year from January-September. We try barbecue from TX Monthly’s Top rated barbecues. We recently ate at Black’s and they had NOTHING on HEB’s Bbq and sides. Texas monthly needs to drop in at HEB in Brenham. They will be pleasantly surprised.

The service was great. One of the workers brought us a new nana pudding recipe to try out. We also had problems with the payment portal but he fixed it super quick. He answered a few questions we had. Really good food, super friendly customer service. Will keep coming back.

I got a 2 meat plate. Ribs and brisket (fatty) were delicious. Coworkers got a brisket sandwich and both said they were good. This location is a food truck outside of HEB, so you can take it to go or sit down in their outside seating area. I’d definitely come back.

Why in the world would you take the tents down where you place the order?. The screens are on fire from the sun directly beating down on them. So hot you can barely touch the screens. The screens will be damaged before too long..

Well this was a pleasant surprise. Stopped by after work to try out this location. It was actually really good. Ordered a quarter pound of burnt ends, brisket and queso sausage to take home for the family to try. The food never made it out of the parking lot!!! Deliciousness

First, since I was driving on 290 I decided to call them and place my order verbally at which time they told me no they’re not allowed to take any verbally. I need to download the app and then put the order on the app in order for them to help me or just wait till I drive up and then I can order it when I stand there and wait. We went to the cubicle and ordered our food after we arrived then we had to wait about 10 or 15 minutes for the food and a glass of unsweet tea. When they gave it to me, they told me that they had no sweet and low and I needed to go into the main grocery store and buy a box of 100 for my 1 glass of tea. They they didn’t really have any stock to help with anything and if I needed anything, I could go and get salt and pepper or napkins around the corner in this little outside cubby area. Needless to say it wasn’t a good experience. The food was good. I’ll say that so I was happy with the food, but the service and their attention to really trying to take care of their customer is a pretty much a one star.

Service was exceptional. They have a covered area with a cooling fan. We were able to sit outside during a hot July afternoon and not get overheated. Brisket was very good and better than most of the bbq restaurants we have been to.
