We had a 7:30am flight on Terminal 5 and this place blew me away. Their egg bacon and cheese sandwich on a Croissant was amazing! And the breakfast potatoes were delectable!

Excellent service by Jesse he was great at communication and meeting all our needs. He is upbeat and engaging with all of us at the bar. Super clean bar area and the food was fresh and delicious served at perfect temperature to enjoy. Fast no long waits. I highly recommend Jesse and the Butcher and the Burger if you’re in the international terminal.

Pretty new restaurant to O’Hare in terminal 5. I did the BYO burger but kept it simple so I could enjoy the beef. Overall a good burger but not something to get excited about. Just the burger and fries will set you back about $20 now add a drink. Pricy, but you’re in the airport so kind of expected. Also, the wait for the food was a bit long…………………… so a lot of people standing around waiting 20 to 30 minutes to get their food to go. I don’t think they had much staff working.

Had the classic breakfast. It was ok. The potatoes were cooked nicely but the seasoning was a bit much/odd. Others had the avocado toast and it was OK. The bacon and sausage were both good. Overall an OK stop for a standard breakfast at the airport.

Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere. Don’t know why 2 burgers should cost 50.00+ when the quality and taste are horrible. Dry burger, old fries and 50.00 less in my bank account. Then the bartender had the nerve to tell me the ketchup belongs at the bar when the 4 packets aren’t enough to make the burger taste somewhat appetizing. Will definitely remember not to eat at this place again and hopefully, readers see this and won’t make the same mistake we did. Only thing good I can say was the cashier was very polite.

My wife and I went here before our flight. We ordered at the kiosk. When the burgers were ready, my wife realized that her burger was incorrect and mine was correct. While I went to go sit and enjoy my food. My wife called me to bring my food up because the COOK not the cashier was demanding that we bring all food back. While waiting the COOK was on the phone yelling to the top of her lungs to someone that she made the right order. And this continued for 10 mins. I expressed to the cashier that my burger was correct and it was just my wife’s burger that was wrong. No one handed me back my burger. The cashier just kept saying wait on the manager. It took the manager 20 mins to arrive, and since it was getting closer to our time to depart. I explained to the manager Denise that no one needed to be treated the way we were treated by a cook. Especially with her yelling and screaming and cussing so loud that every customer could hear these obscenities. While Denise was processing my refund, the cook came out and showed her my burger and said how is this burger wrong and added that we didn’t need a refund and started yelling and screaming at us in front of her manager. The manager Denise apologized and said that she would talk to her but honestly that young lady needed to be fired. I told Denise that we didn’t need refunds for my drinks and she gave us the full refund for the burger and fries. Whoever reads these reviews need to understand that the cook was unhinged to the point that she was so upset that I honestly though she might attack my wife and I. And all her coworkers sat around and let it happen. They were scared and embarrassed to say calm down. The manager Denise couldn’t even calm her down. This was my first and last time going this restaurant. I pray no one ever has this experience I encountered.
