Lito’s Mexican Restaurant is a grand slam for a Mexican style breakfast. I had the breakfast burrito with eggs and sausage. For a little extra charge I added cheese and beans but wish I didn’t for get to add potatoes. The burrito was delicious. I was brought out chips with read salsa while I waited which were fantastic. When my burrito arrived I was given a very taste green salsa as well. It must be a locals hot spot because the very friendly staff knew most of the customers by name. Seating is some what limited but I was able to get the last seat without waiting and the turn over is pretty quick. Everyone I saw had a different meal and they all were mouth watering. The potions sizes are huge and I didn’t see a single plate of food I would love to try on any of the customers tables.

Nice Mexican food place. Pretty convenient if you stay at the marriot. The tacos were great.

I’ve been here 4 times and found hair in my food on 2 of those occasions. First time my girlfriend and I went we found a big black hair in our salsa. I didn’t go back for a long time until eventually I got dragged by a group of friends that wanted their breakfast burritos badly enough to ignore my experience. The breakfast burritos are good and aren’t too expensive, so I came back for breakfast burritos a couple times after that. My third burrito had another massive black hair in it. I will not be returning, would not advise anyone else to, and would recommend this place be visited by the health department without warning.

Stopped in for a breakfast burrito on our way to Paso Robles. The burrito was fresh, salsa was so good and it was a small, quaint place for a quick bite! They were also preparing ribs for a catering event that day that smelt and looked delicious!

Every time I am in Santa Barbara Lito’s is on my must stop places to get my favorite Carnitas burrito. Wendy is always so nice and remembered me today from when I worked for SBPD and come in all the time. I love the new remodel inside too.

Lito’s gets what most burrito spots forget: portions matter. The tri-tip burrito is loaded with real amounts of meat, guacamole, sour cream, and cheese in every bite. Not skimpy, not overpriced. You actually get the experience you’re paying for.

Lito’s is amazing! The chorizo breakfast burrito is life-changing! In all seriousness, it’s really great. I got the chorizo breakfast burrito, and added cheese and potatoes. That, plus the spicy red salsa… Divine!

Unfortunately, it’s my last day in Santa Barbara, but I’ll absolutely be back here when I’m in the area next time! ☺️

I ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon and cheese. The first dozen bites were all egg and soft, mushy potato. When they put the filling in, they didn’t distribute the stuff through out so the first half of the burrito was just egg and potato.
Once I got half way through, I got to the good stuff: thick cut, warm, crunchy bacon and cheese with the egg/potato mix.
Tortilla was good but a tiny bit tough—not made to order fresh-but totally fine.
I’d definitely order here again but will specifically request that they mix up the stuffing so it’s more equally distributed.

I had a late lunch. I ordered the chicken enchilada lunch special. Very tasty and good service. The chips and salsa that came with it were delicious. The only drawback is it’s a small place with not a lot of seating. I was able to get a table as I got there for a late lunch. If you go during the lunch rush, you may have to wait for a table or order to go. I also ordered a machaca burrito to go. I ate that the next morning on my flight home. Burrito was huge, the size of a small baby. It was tasty as well.

Good food but the waitress was rude and gave us dirty looks for reserving a seat while we were in line. Other people did the same thing and they didn’t tell them anything. She didn’t smile at all our stay there. Time to find another restaurant where you’re welcomed and not treated bad.
