Stopped and was deliciously impressed. The spot is clean and inviting with comfortable red booths and TVs to catch the news. You can tell they take pride in their craft; the menu proudly states meats are smoked for 15 hours! I tried the brisket and it didn’t disappoint. The meat was tender and flavorful. They have all the classics like brisket, ribs, and hotlinks, plus peach cobbler for dessert. Definitely my new go-to BBQ joint for lunch.

Had dinner there yesterday and was very satisfied with both the food and service. I had the 1/2 rack ribs. At first I thought it was pricey but when I saw the plate it had more than plenty for me and it was beyond delicious. Well worth the fair price! The corn bread made the dinner complete!!! Highly recommend!!!

I usually leave reviews at every place I go to, good, or bad. I was here a few months ago, and didn’t for some reason.
Well, I have ri to say this. It was great last time, and somehow, they got better.
Came for lunch, and the only negative, it was a little pricey. I can’t blame them as I ordered several things.
Not a ding on them however, I believe they are right on market pricing for BBQ.
Anytime im close, I will definitely eat here.

Service was great. The brisket was very good, the link(not very spicy, which was great for me) was very good as well. The smokie beans are amazing! The Mac and cheese were mushy for me, but my hubby liked. Reasonably priced for BBQ! The only bad I have to say, is that there were ants near the soda machine.

This is the best BBQ in the area of Phoenix. The customer service is outstanding. I ordered the chicken 1/4 sandwich with the bun on the side and a side of collard greens. The chicken breast and wing was so tender that the meat fell off the bone. The chicken was smokey delicious. The BBQ sauce was tangy and spicy. The collard greens were fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wow! The owner and staff at this restaurant are very kind and friendly. The BBQ is to die for! I tried the ribs and they were very delicious. The house sauces they have are very good! My favorite thing out of everything was their CORNBREAD! Definitely will be coming back.

I’m from Kansas City, so I like to think I know BBQ. Smoakies is the best in AZ, and it’s not close. Pulled pork and brisket is top notch. If this place was in a super high traffic area, everyone else would recognize it as the best in town.

Smoakie BBQ is a restaurant that specializes in BBQ cuisine, located in the Laveen, 51st and Baseline. I recently visited this restaurant and was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and the exceptional service.

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich meal with barbecue beans as my side. The pulled pork sandwich was tender, juicy, and well-seasoned, making for a mouthwatering meal. The barbecue beans complemented the sandwich perfectly, with just the right amount of smokiness and seasoning. My friend ordered the brisket sandwich with mac and cheese, which was also delicious. The mac and cheese was creamy and flavorful, while the brisket was smoked to perfection and melted in your mouth.

The gentleman who took the order unfortunately forgot to serve the order, and as a result, I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for my food. However, I would gladly wait that long for the quality of the food that Smoakie BBQ produces. The staff was incredibly friendly and apologetic about the mistake, which made the wait time less frustrating.

The prices at Smoakie BBQ are also reasonable and meet the quality of the food. For the amount and quality of food that we received, the prices were worth every penny.

In conclusion, Smoakie BBQ is an exceptional restaurant that serves delicious food with exceptional service. While there may be a bit of a wait time for some orders, the quality of the food is definitely worth it. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience and amazing BBQ cuisine.

Terrible food, tasteless, dry. Wasted $100+ on lunch for four. Brisket had no seasoning or moisture, baked potato was Grey in color. We ended up throwing half the food in the trash. Don’t waste your money.

Just had lunch here and the food and service was phenomenal. The brisket is definitely the highlight super tender with a nice spicy bbq sauce.
The ribs fall off the bone and is well seasoned. Plus the portion sizes are great.
The people were kind and chill. No extra fluff or flair just a couple dudes who will make sure you are taken care of.
If you are out in Laveen definitely worth trying.
