A cute dive bar-esque joint. We came on a Thursday night and they were super busy! Even though they were, our service never slowed. We started with an order of fried mushrooms, and for our mains we got a burger and fries and a chicken strip basket. Our food was hot, fresh, and reasonably priced. I would definitely go again. The only thing that would make this place top notch was if they made their own ranch. That’s just the Michigander in me loving ranch lol.

We are visiting from out of town and was craving pizza. This pizza came through with flying colors! Amazing thin crust, perfect tasting sauce, the exact right amount of cheese, and the most amazing mini cupped kind of spicy pepperoni. Absolutely fantastic! Atmosphere while picking up was great and the young lady who helped us was such a delight. Would and most definitely WILL be eating here again.

Maybe it was just because we went mid-week, but the atmosphere was almost too quiet — quiet enough that talking felt a little awkward, like everyone could hear us. Some background music would definitely help bring the place to life.

That said, the food more than made up for the silence. It came out a little slow, but absolutely worth the wait. I was already more than halfway through an 18” pizza by myself before my husband pointed it out, and honestly, I have no regrets.

I also decided to try the pickle pizza simply because it sounded so odd, and I’m so glad I did. I ended up falling in love with something I never knew I needed in my life. It’s a must-try, and I’ll 100% be going back just for that alone.

As for value, the price for an appetizer, an 18” pizza, a 7” pizza, a 12” sub, two desserts, and two drinks was surprisingly reasonable. Between the quality, the portions, and the unique flavors, it’s definitely a place that we’ll be returning to.

Had been wanting to try the pizza for a while. The pizzas always look so good on facebook. Went in and there was a smell. My daughter and niece said they thought it smelled like mildew. I thought it smelled like sewage. Service was fine. We told her we wanted dessert when we ordered our food. We had to ask for refills. Food came in a reasonable amount of time. Got mozzarella sticks, again they were fine, but the sauce served with them had zero flavor. Daughter got a sub and my niece and I got pizzas. All were pretty good. I’d give the meat pizza an 8. Then we waited for a bit before flagging the server down to order dessert. The sign said try our homemade pies. Peanut butter was the only pie listed. They also listed chocolate cake with ice cream and cheesecake. I got the pb pie. It was no way near homemade. It was frozen chocolate and pb pie and for 6.99 the portion was laughable. The “decadent” chocolate cake was also frozen, better portion, though. The ice cream was literally plopped out of a single serve plastic cup like you would get on your tray at school. It was 8.99. We didn’t get the cheesecake but I saw a piece waiting to go to another table and it was also frozen. Very disappointed in the desserts. Don’t advertise homemade pie and serve that, especially at those prices. Again, cheese sticks were fine, service was fine, pizza was good, but with the dessert disappointments, less than stellar service, and the smell, I don’t think I’ll be going back.

Visiting the area for Hocking hills. Passed this place on the way in and made sure to try them before we left. Glad we did! Very friendly and fun crew. Delicious food. Partner saw the Pickle Pizza. Now listen , sounds weird but if you love pickles. You’ll love this. Best pickle pizza I’ve ever had . Also very reasonably priced. Partner had the peanut butter pie and I had a slice of peach.

We stopped at Mama Renies after a long day of hiking at Moonville and it was great. Had two kids with us, wasn’t at all a problem. The pizza was awesome, really enjoyed the buffalo chicken. Prices are very reasonable. All in all a really excellent little pizza and tavern right in the heart of McArthur.

Omg… the food is incredible. Best cheese burger ever, stacked high with veggies. Eat those fries with mayo and vinegar..mmmmmm and thin crust pizza and fried pickles better than any place I have been. 5stars… I do miss our original waitress but service is good as well.

Very good food, and the people are normally very friendly! Don’t love the atmosphere with the kids, and sometimes it smells kinda bad inside. Just order take out and it’s always delicious.

Stopped in on the way home from a soccer game. Small town but I must admit, good food. We enjoyed all we had. Service was fantastic with a server that had a smile for us and was friendly and quick.
Would definitely stop in again if in the area.
