Not sure why I waited so long to try this place. Ordered an Italian grinder to dine in and had it piping hot on my table in under 6 minutes. Ingredient quality and quantity was decent, although I would have liked more sausage. Half sandwich is absolutely massive for $9 and change and was delicious. Restaurant itself was calming and clean, and staff seemed friendly enough. Adding this to my regular lunch rotation.

Calzones are nothing to praise. Steak and mushrooms was a joke. Barely any meat or cheese and I didn’t pick anything off in the photo. Very upset but too far away to take it back. Won’t go back.

The garlic cheesy bread used to be so much better. I ordered it this last time and felt like it was a nasty half soggy lump of cheese and maybe bread. Nothing special about it. It was like I threw a piece of bread in the microwave with cheese on it and called it a day. Waste of money. Pizza was decent. Workers are very kind, it’s just the food.

Great food! A little expensive but worth it. The service takes a little while but again, way worth it. I’d suggest coming here for a laid back open evening with friends or family. I suggest the meatball sub combo! Great atmosphere that gives a nice old fashioned but not too old where if feels like they’re trying. Me and my family had a great time there, but there was a few “this place is busy” and ” this is taking a while”s thrown around. I’d highly suggest it!

I love a mancino grinder. I don’t mind paying more for something as long as it’s satisfying.$19 for a whole grinder.
Is in my opinion a lot, especially when they take the top of the sandwich off and see very little meat in there. For nineteen dollars, I expect to be able to see meat hanging out the side of the sandwich. Maybe we need to look at quality control of portion size. I’m not feeling that I received nineteen dollars worth of satisfaction while eating this grinder. This is why they only receive 2 stars like I said. I love the sandwiches, but I’m not getting my value. Without customers, there is no reason to be open.
Seriously. Please look at the amount of meat. You’re putting on the sandwich because my roast beef trio has very little roast beef on it.

After seeing a Tiger’s game at Comerica Patk, we enjoyed our large Mancino’s Pride pizza on our way home. It’s a tasty combination pizza (we subbed bacon for ham). I love the sauce and seasonings, especially the fennel! Yum! There were a commendable amount of toppings and plenty of cheese as well!
Mancino’s or Sam Mancino’s are scattered around West Michigan and are DEFINITELY worth a visit! They have great subs too!
