Been wanting to try this place for about a year &B I’ve been seeing, lately, social media posts raving about it. Today I FINALLY got the chance to try it & I’m SO happy I stopped in! For starters, the place is very inviting & exceptionally clean & tidy. The two employees I interacted with were super friendly & helpful also, which to me, that’s gonna make or break whether or not I’m a return customer, regardless of how great the food tastes. I got one of their bowls & let me just tell you, it was HUGE. I chose chicken shawarma for the protein & yellow rice, as much as I really wanted lettuce, I can never finish a bowl in one sitting & lettuce gets weird after a few hours when it’s mixed in with other foods. I also got the feta, which was $1 extra, their Habibi Sauce, which I can’t say enough great things about! It has a tang, slightly zippy spicy with a touch of sweet. Make sure if you try this, you get a side to go, you won’t regret it! I also got their red pepper hummus, YUM, & garlic sauce, also YUM. They have a variety of veggies you can add to the bowls, I only added red onion (because I’m not a huge veggie fan). I also decided to try their Habibi boneless chicken, which was deeee-lish! I noticed on their website they’re adding two more locations, one at 24 & Hayes & one in Fraser, so I’m really looking forward to visiting the 24 & Hayes one as it’s much closer than the one on Ryan, which is where I went today because I had an appointment in the area. As far as prices, I felt they were very reasonable, considering all the food I got, along with the quality. Don’t pass this place up, because it’s kind of a little hidden gem you don’t hear a lot about.

Love it! We usually order kabob from a different store in Troy – but this beats that store. Excellent food! We are glad that we tried it today. We had a family get together and we placed an order for family platter and it was really good! Everything was excellent! Will be back for more and will refer people over!

After driving by more times than I can count, we ordered takeout from Hungry Habibi. By the time we were maybe half done our meals, we were no longer hungry because the portion sizes were huge! Food was fresh and flavorful. All four of us enjoyed our meals, including chicken shawarma plate, catfish, grilled chicken, Habibi fries, and hummus.

We haven’t had chicken shawarma in roughly five years since moving away from the city. We stopped here on our way back home, and it was absolutely scrumptious!!! Highly recommend this joint! Great chicken shawarma and nicely priced!

I come here every week the service is the best and chicken shawarma here is unmatched. I got a bowl and habibi fries with a side of chicken cream chip and it was soo good i regret not getting it on top of the fries. Yet the fries themselves are delicious, 10/10 recommend Hungry Habibi!!!

When I walked into this place, I was greeted by the owner, Wallie. The staff here is great. The outside sign is neat, and the inside is clean. I tried a beef shawarma and a chicken Shawarma, and they both were good and fresh. I chose the build your own option so you can choose what goes in it. The green sauce was great. My friend chose the build your own bowl. They enjoyed it. We also tried the rice pudding with Baklava. It was nice and fresh but not too sweet. I recommend this place, the best Shawarma I ever had.

One of my favorite is middle eastern food and this place is fantastic! The quality of the food is top notch! I ordered combo platter 5 and wow it was delicious! The place was clean and the staff are friendly and professional. I’m glad I found this hidden gem! I absolutely recommend this place! I will definitely going back. Keep it up!
