Night shift is slack.. well certain ones. But they had my order messed up!! I ordered double burger tray ALL THE WAY. They put everything but cheese. Who eats a burger without no cheese?? Then gave me them lil bit ahh fries.. then my son plate in the back, I ordered a jr burger tray with DOUBLE FRIES. They gave my boy them lil bit ahh fries.. my other son lil bit ahh fries & another burger that posed to Been ALL THE WAY NOT ALL THE WAY!!! Like gahhlee folks paying over $30 for y’all to mess up a SIMPLE ORDER … ANOTHER THING it’s 2 lanes but it seems like every time I come there, someone already in one lane ordering then when I pull up to the 2nd lane while it’s someone behind the person in the 1st lane.. when it’s supposed to be my turn to order they’ll get the person that’s behind the person that just got done ordering.. like damn having me sitting in line looking crazy. LEXINGTON COOKOUT WOULD NEVER!! Plus they’re not stingy with the fries..

Just went to the new location in Cayce, SC. Wasn’t impressed – your only choices were the drive through or a walk up window. No seating available at all – much less any bathroom facilities where you could even wash your hands. Service was slow & food was barely warm. I’ve never had French Fries that were cold and rubbery and hamburger patties were “slider” sized. Will not go back to this location!

Foods always been really good here for a cookout but as I’ve recently learned if you go to the window and not the drive through they will do everything they can not to make eye contact with you. Bc then they would have to actually come to window to take your order. I’m not stop watching it but that was a good 5 minutes just standing there like I’m at an aquarium looking in. Like I said foods great but why yall act like you don’t see people.. weird

Went to pick up lunch at this location on 02/01/206, checked the food and the tenders appeared to have taken a bite out, tried to get help from the worker and was told that they were “pulled apart” for cooking purposes and didn’t offer any sort of solution. Got home to finally eat the food and bit into an onion ring only for it to be filled with powder and something that appeared to be a plastic item. After all of this being said the order wasn’t even correct.

This place has only been open a short time. However, every visit (3-4 times) has been professional, friendly and accurate. There’s great for fast food drive through. This one feels more like home town. Great job, means good leadership too. Please keep it up!

Well this was the best cook out, lady there tonight is rude and unpleasant!!! Definitely not customer service friendly! Milk shakes cut off hour before closing. Sit in lane 2 for 5 mins to be told to drive to other lane it’s closed. Guess it’s like all the others around here now…. sucks

10-14-25 at 1:15pm. Wonderful customer service, fresh food and speedy service. My experience was very pleasant so much so that I came back around 8:15pm and my experience was identical. Speedy service, fresh food, customer service was excellent. I traveled all the way from two notch just for the experience. Best location!!! Thank you

So I get cookout, this cookout only, every Sunday night after work. It’s nearly midnight when I get there, and it’s always the same….. The same AMAZING Customer service. I have worked customer service jobs, and I know when you are tired it can be really hard but the wonderful people here go above and beyond. I really appreciate all the wonderful jobs that they do. I’ve read some of the reviews and am blown away by people’s poor expectations. It’s not $100 per meal, BUT this is high quality food and open super late. It doesn’t matter if it’s not perfect, it’s pretty great, open late, and better than any other alternative. Waffle house and Whataburger can’t compete with Cookout, specifically this cookout. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: dang this location went downhill fast! Please fire the young lady with the dark hair who works in the window. Man her attitude is RANK and she has forgotten items more than once! Terrible customer service. It’s a shame.
Best cookout I’ve been to since living in the Carolina’s for 12 years. Customer service was great, food was fresh and so hot it melted the container. Please keep this cookout like this! Amazing.
