I was a little confused as to where it was located as it is tucked away behind the country diner. Shares a space with Subway.
Staff here are friendly and make sure you are getting a deal. I was just ordering items separately as I didn’t know what constituted a combo, and they made sure I got the combo price.
Service here is quick, just a few minutes to get my chicken sandwich and Mac and cheese. All the utensils I needed were already in the bag. I had no need to go up and ask at the counter.
Food was served hot and ready to devour. Mac and cheese was nice for fast food. Didn’t taste artificial like KFC does. More homemade quality to it. Chicken sandwich is always a favorite of mine here. Crispy and plenty to fill me up.

We were on the road traveling home wanting to stop in for something quick it took about 45 minutes to get our food without any service anywhere. They only came out when I came in to say it’s been over 30 minutes get our money back and let’s go. 15 minutes later my adult son came out and said that they couldn’t refund my money. I have contacted customer service with no response from them either. Probably why this location is suffering so bad. Do better please

Their Chicken sandwich is pretty good in a vast sea of competition, but the Popcorn shrimp was great . You have to ask for the shrimp without the combo and a good price by itself but I don’t care for their combo options. I wish they had Sweet & Sour dipping sauce but can’t fault their selection of other sauces as it’s impressive. Place was busy as that Truck stop is the last food for many miles & a mix of truckers and families loading up on carbs & proteins before going up the Columbia river gorge, or people coming from the east and first stop. Pro tip, if you want extra sauce, it’s only 1-2 per order. Extras are .35 cents so who doesn’t want a lot of sauce or options? So get your sauce order in with your food because you hold up the line when you ask for more when food is ready plus it annoys everyone. Decide your order, get in, get out, don’t hold up the parade. Busy place!!!

You wouldn’t expect a gas station Popeye’s to be an especially friendly and kind joint, but everyone here is so sweet. Tried the new ghost pepper chicken sandwich with cheese and it was not much different than the regular spicy but was satisfying. Would go here again just cause the staff has good vibes.

I stopped here for a spicy chicken sandwich on my way back from Hood River. It’s inside of a truck stop travel store and shares a space with a Subway. The place was fairly grubby when I walked in, but I was gonna get it to go so it didn’t bother me. The menu listed the sandwich as $5.99, which is a dollar more than all the other Popeyes in Portland. When the cashier rang it up, it was $6.49. When I questioned him, he said the prices went up. When I asked him to honor the listed price, he refused. I said okay and walked out.

Food was good, but there was items missing from my order. Two biscuits and a whole order of wings. I brought to the attention of the staff about the two biscuits and they pointed out it already had two, but I had to let them know those came with the order and I ordered an additional two. I didn’t make a stink about the missing wings since I was not about to turn around after dealing with the first missing item. Very helpful tip for the staff: SLOW DOWN! Check the orders before handing it over to the customer. Not giving the customer what they pay for is the same as stealing.
