Just don’t. Will your food be cooked and prepared properly? Maybe. Maybe not. Will the food products be fresh? Maybe. Probably not. Will you have everything in the bag that you ordered? Most likely not. This is the only restaurant I have ever complained to their corporate office about (which I did about 2 years ago). The only response I received was a coupon in the mail. This morning, as I was driving to work, I figured it had been 2 years, let me try them again. I mean, surely things have improved…right? Nope. I was wrong. An item was missing from my order, the sandwich was cold, and the cheese (I’m not entirely sure this cheese was even supposed to be on the sandwich?) was dried out around the edges. I’m not sure how to describe the ham… Save your money and time. Just keep driving.

Called in a large order last night to pick up early this morning when I arrived i was greeted with a smile and friendly staff, my order was being bagged up they even insisted that they carried if out to my truck for me, everything was hot and ready for me. Great job to Hardee’s and the staff

I’ve lived in Castle hayne for 40 years. I’ve given this location chance after chance.. nothing changes. Tried it again today.. still the same. Expensive, slow as molasses, cold food, bad customer service, missing items, sloppy presentation both of employees and the food. I think in all these years, the only way this place has survived is by the senior regulars coming in for breakfast and early bird specials. Just keep driving and save your money, McDonald’s is not far in either direction of this Hardee’s.

I love hardees biscuit and gravy and hash rounds. I eat the biscuit and use the leftover gravy to dip the hash rounds . but they changed policy and they severely limit the amount of gravy you get. Not even really enough for just the biscuit. For 1.50 you can get a small bowl of gravy to add to it.
Now I just get the gravy and the hash rounds. I used to go here at least 2-3 times a week, now about once a month.

Got some of our order wrong, were not particularly fast, and it sure isn’t as cheep at it used to be. Pretty much the same as all other fast food restaurants nowadays.
The $5 grab bag isn’t a bad deal tho, so I still pop in from time to time.

Ordered a hamburger with mustard and pickles at the drive thru, got one with mustard, ketchup, onions and pickle, went back to the drive thru and told them about the mistake anyway got another hamburger and drove home to find out I had a hamburger with mustard and sliced onion. I don’t know how this place stays in business. Very slow and not proficient
