Poppa’s Italian Factory is a fantastic place! The food is amazing, freshly prepared, & fast! Donna & Ken are super-sweet & treat you like family! I’m a huge fan of their eggplant parmesan & the desserts are all delicious—especially the Italian pistachio cake! They recently made a big box of Italian cookies for an event to support Hope Services & it was a huge hit!

What a gem! This little Italian restaurant completely won us over. The food was absolutely delicious — flavorful and clearly made with care. From the perfectly cooked pasta to the rich, homemade sauces, every bite tasted authentic and comforting. The Italian cream soda was top notch! There was even gluten free spaghetti.
The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

Small family owned and operated Italian restaurant with really good homemade food and deserts. I had the chicken parm and ice cream, both were excellent. They did an amazing job handling our huge cat rescue group and multiple orders. They were friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant and everyone felt welcome. I will definitely be back to try other menu items.

Going to Poppa’s Italian Factory is like Sunday dinners with your Italian family. Donna and Ken are always hospitable every time we visit, no matter how long it has been since the last time. The food is delicious from the pepperoni bread to pasta dishes to dessert. We have yet to order something we didn’t like. We’ve ordered takeout and catering and have never been disappointed. For what you get, prices are reasonable. So grateful this restaurant is in the neighborhood –it’s refreshing to have made from scratch meals as our family is exhausted from the chain restaurant flavors. Hope Poppa’s is here to stay–thank you for the great food and hospitality!

My husband who is not a bread person, was impressed with the Mini Sausage Bread. He ordered it more for an appetizer, but he ended up making it his meal! He’s excited because he now has his sandwich left for tomorrow. I had the Eggplant parmesan with the side of spaghetti and it was so filling, I could only eat half. Now I have a mini meal for tomorrow. Will definitely be coming back to try some other meals and sandwiches. Can’t wait to try the Italian Pistachio Cake that I brought home. We did take out, and for us old folk, it was perfect! Thank you Poppa’s Italian Factory…

I had a taste on a cold and chilly day for some good spaghetti…you know how you have that certain taste that calls you. The spaghetti here was average nothing to write home about. It seems like I had more sauce than the actual spaghetti itself. The two pieces of soft bread…could have been substituted for some real garlic. My thoughts as I saw it.

I was craving homemade roasted chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy but didn’t have time to make it myself; was delighted when my google search found exactly that on the menu at Homestyle Scratch Kitchen. When picking up my order, I had the opportunity to chat with one of the owners, Kenny, who was super pleasant and passionate about their food. The chicken dinner was amazing, definitely homemade comfort food. Also picked up chicken soup (creamy chicken vegetable chowder style) which was also amazing. They have a nice little dessert case at the checkout counter, and I couldn’t resist the homemade pistachio cake – absolutely delicious. Also really enjoyed the decor, including the fun and nostalgic collage of photos from NJ beach towns. Highly recommend and am already looking forward to stopping in again soon!
