The venue is very iconic and old bank building with the vault background and overall very spacious. The ambience is great and the sever Andrew was fabulous. One of the best service we’ve ever had in life. The starters are nice but not as great either in texture or taste or for the matter temperature. The main course which was Dal & Kofta was just fabulous & the helpings are very generous. It was a great experience and we were also served mango mocktail ..,mango lassi was absolutely fabulous but the Chai very far off – more like chai latte. Will certainly come back. They have almost everything in place except I’d suggest to choose the starters more carefully and avoid the hot beverages. avoid the starters.

BTW – true value for money!!

Absolutely the best dining experience I’ve been in years. My wife and I tried this for my birthday and we weren’t sure what expect. What a pleasant surprise!!! Not being familiar with Indian cuisine we counted on our server’s recommendations and each dish was fantastic with huge portions. The repurposed bank produces a unique atmosphere with lighting and music at perfect levels to create a cozy atmosphere in a room with 20 ft high ceilings. We took home enough food to feed us for another 2 days, considering the price point I was amazed. Do yourself a favor and try this place ASAP

I first came here years ago and don’t even remember what I ordered — but it was memorable enough that it stuck with me all this time among the many Indian restaurants I’ve tried. The portions are still huge for the price, which you really can’t beat.

They offer lunch specials around $11–15, which finally gave me the chance to try something new since Indian food can get pricey and I usually stick to what I know. I ordered the paneer masala lunch special and it was excellent — and easily enough food for a full meal.

My only small complaint is that I wish there were a bit more sauce for the rice (and for dipping naan), but that’s minor. Overall, this place is delicious, affordable, generous with portions, and has friendly staff. I always recommend it and will definitely be back.

Gorgeous place, loved the refurbished modern setting. Andrew was the best waiter I’ve ever had. The food was delicious and we had plenty to take home after. Can’t wait to return!

My husband and I first tried Indian food while in England this past year. We were celebrating my birthday so we wanted to find a local Indian restaurant to eat. We were over the moon with Spicy Affair. The atmosphere was welcoming and our waiter, Andrew, was absolutely the best. He made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. He tried to find me a vegan dessert (as I am vegan) and was so apologetic when he couldn’t. Hopefully next time!! Now the food was incredible. We ordered the chickpea curry and the tofu tikka masala. We also got the mixed appetizer platter. Would highly recommend all of those dishes! We can’t wait to come back and try more items off the very full menu!! Thank you again Andrew for your wonderful hospitality.

This place isn’t just bad food — it’s an insult to every real Indian restaurant that has ever existed. Generations of spice, tradition, and soul-cooked recipes, and THIS is what they put their name next to? Artificial colors, fake flavors, and zero authenticity. They’re not serving Indian food. They’re serving a costume of it. Real Indian cuisine deserves so much better than this embarrassment. It only looks good for photos that’s it.

Absolutely loved my first experience at an Indian restaurant. We ordered the Gobi Manchurian which was very tasty as well as the sauces that were served with the Paneer Pakora. It was a great way to open up our palates for their delicious entrées. Our selection for tonight was the lamb saag which was very tender with a mild recommendation if you don’t do spicy. The chicken Tikka kebab-dry was a surprise taste which did not disappoint. The portion was for this dish was very generous. Last but not least the butter chicken was well proportioned served with a very nice creamy sauce.
The service was fast and served always with a smile. Great service, great food and the atmosphere wow
Nothing but good things to say about our experience.

The food was not that great; we are accustomed to fusion cuisine that combines Western and Indian elements, but this was not even fusion food. The Curries were just sour and had no other taste. The food definitely needs improvement. Portions are sizable and good.

I was here about a week ago, I did a photo booth for a Quinceanera for Bella. Not something this establishment does often.
I met the owners, very nice people, beautiful place, and the food was delicious. I had to give compliments to the chef.
Loved the food, even though I was not able to have too much as the party was amazing and another party in the photo booth.
