Wife and I stopped in here around 2:30 for a late lunch. They have an extensive lunch menu, all items just $9 (beverages extra). My wife had the Reuben, which was good, as were the fruit cup and fries, which were added accidentally—no extra charge. I had the pulled pork with cornbread and mashed potatoes. The pork was tender, flavorful, and plentiful. The cornbread and mashed potatoes were OK but could have used some butter, which I didn’t get an opportunity to ask for. The server was friendly but apparently the only one. The AC was cranked up pretty strong for a not very hot day. Glad I had my jacket with me.

It’s a cool little restaurant that has lots of food choices. I went here for the first time ever with my grandparents and I really enjoyed it. We got pretzels + fondue for our appetizer which was super yummy and very enjoyable. For my main course, I got a chicken melt which was phenomenal. Overall, the experience was great and our server was very nice as well. I’ll be sure to come back soon!

We were greeted within like 2 minutes of sitting down, food and drinks were delivered quickly. Pulled pork was fine, Mac and cheese had a good cheddar flavor, but a bit runny. Slaw was mostly carrots, which overwhelmed the flavors. Sweet potato fries were a bit soft and too salty. Drinks are on the expensive side

Pulled pork was a little bland but was juicy. The burnt ends were decent. The brisket wasn’t very flavorful but was juicy. The nachos were pretty decent. The home made bbq sauce was excellent. The salad was served with bbq rach dressing that was excellent. It was on the expensive side. The staff were ok.

The barbecue smelled so good that we stopped in for dinner.
BIG MISTAKE.
our first clue to run away was that Although the restaurant was only 1/3 full, the host said the kitchen was overwhelmed and that we shouldn’t wait 10 minutes before being seated.
The waitress recommended the special prime rib over brisket was made two days ago!
Prime rib was like shoe leather. I would not recommend this place.

After being seated the waitress never showed up with water or to take drink orders. Staff walked by and checked on other tables without acknowledging us. After going inside to ask for our waitress, she never came out. On our way out without having a thing to eat or drink, I ran into the manager. He seemed to not really care that we had not been served and were leaving. The lesson here is that a restaurant that you needed reservations for in the past are no longer needed, just move along. The management should be ashamed. Won’t be going back again.

Fun family tavern and grill. In house smoked meats and made from scratch BBQ sauce. Great atmosphere and has a few claw machines and arcade games. Servers are bright and cheerful. Food is the best. They have a lot to offer and it tastes delicious.

Service for takeout was off the charts great but the take out mac and cheese and pulled pork was at best a 5 in flavor. Cornbread was horribly dry and ribs were a a bit flavorless and dry. And the meal was pricey. Sad to say we won’t be back

Went in around 4pm for dinner. Upon walking in, my nasal passages were brutally assaulted by the smell of sweet baby rays. To be expected from a barbecue joint so no biggie. Was seated promptly by the hostess who seemed to be the only employee in the front of house. Sitting at the bar were a bunch of sad drunk people who looked like they were in the midst of their mid afternoon nap. I am not sure how they had drinks, because I sat at a table for 20 mins waiting to be served and nobody came. Checked other reviews here, saw it was a common problem and decided to leave instead of subjecting myself to poor service for over-priced food in this economy. The cherry on top was realizing that my clothes reeked of barbecue sauce. It smelled like somebody bathed me in sweet baby rays. Do you know what it’s like to leave a barbecue place smelling like barbecue with an empty stomach? I liken it to getting to the top of a roller coaster and never coming down. I wouldn’t recommend coming here around 4pm unless you wanna bring your kids and show them what alcoholism does to the human body by directing them to the bar.
