701 Eateries features 3 dining areas, The Prairie Kitchen, Camp Lone Tree Rooftop Bar & The Dain Room (private dining space for up to 24). We will meet you in the kitchen, where all the good parties and storytelling happen! Whether it’s singing 90s rap at the top of our lungs after some cocktails with wooden spoons for microphones (because that’s what we do EVERY holiday) or eating lefse, hot dishes, a fun new recipe we created from local ingredients or making traditional Romegrott, we will share our favorite things from the midwest and we hope you share yours. 701 is all about Midwest fun! We can’t wait for you to join the neighborhood party!

Never had a bad meal here, everything has been from the steak to the Swedish meatballs to the guyre fries!
We came for brunch this time and had the smoked brisket has, lemon ricotta pancakes, and biscuits and gravy. Smoked brisket hash was probably an 8/10, with a little more spicy aioli it would’ve a step above! Lemon ricotta pancakes were a 10/10, DEFINITELY get those!! Biscuits and gravy were a 7/10 – gravy was amazing, biscuits were just slightly doughy/cakey and not what we were used to. Otherwise very impressed with the service and food, will definitely be back!!

My wife and I have been visiting Fargo over the holidays for almost a decade now, and we’re always looking for an enjoyable date night experience. 701 is a special find. The aroma of sautéed brussel sprouts immediately tantalized our senses when we walked in, and our gracious server allowed us to order an entire plate of them for our appetizer. The vibe is clean and welcoming, and the worst part of our experience was having to choose between all the delicious menu options. Everything about our experience was on point. We especially thank “Big John” for making sure our evening was delightful from start to finish. Dessert was great too, and we encourage you to ask for your complementary Red Eye after your meal!

One year ago today we reserved a small room here for a small wedding for my son. They do not typically have weddings here but accommodated us as it was just 11 people.
We could not have asked for a more helpful and friendly group of people helping us pull this off!
They let us in early to do a little decorating, went over anything with us they could help with, again, phenomenal staff!
Once the couple were officially married, we had an excellent sit down meal for us all.
Everyone that had been there complimented how everything tasted wonderful and a good variety to choose from as well is incredible staff!
We cant thank you enough for making this last minute wedding change of plans turn out to be so memorable for us all!

Went here last week for dinner after work and it turned out to be a pretty solid choice. The place felt relaxed and not too loud, which I appreciated. Service was friendly and moved at a good pace, no rushing but no long waits either. I ordered a burger with fries and it came out hot and cooked how I asked. Nothing over the top, just done right. My friend had a pasta dish and said it was filling and well seasoned. Prices felt fair for the portion sizes. Overall, a dependable spot if you want a comfortable meal without any fuss.

Wow! 701 Eateries has a beautiful atmosphere and decoration, that goes right along with a fantastic menu. The Swedish Meatballs over mashed potatoes were authentic and delicious. The beef strogonoff was also very tasty. The presentation and service was top notch. There are many other options of dishes to try, definitely an excellent choice when in Fargo!

I have been here multiple times over the last 3-4 years and every single time I have left thinking how disappointed I was. After my experience last night, I will never go back. 5:30 reservation and we didn’t even get a greeting much less a drink or appetizer order for 20 minutes and the place is far from understaffed. The table ordered drinks and then we all watched them sit on the counter for an additional 10 minutes because no one ran them to us, even though we were two feet from the bar. The apps go to us before the drinks. The cheese curds were delicious.
Dinner for the table was delivered sporadically with one friend of mine waiting while everyone else ate. The Caesar salad dressing tasted sour and wrong and I could barely eat it. The salmon was fine. The members of our group that needed it loved their gluten free options.
Overall, this is a horribly managed and over priced restaurant that people overlook because the interior is pretty.
