After getting our marriage certificate notarized we wanted to eat something new. I’m so so happy that we came to Yak. We will be coming back every year. The food was delicious, and the hole in the wall environment was exactly what we wanted. You can order with a QR code at the table, and the mango lassi is a must have!

Food is really testy. If you are a spice lover, they have some serious spice food. I do not like the environment though. could be a little cleaner. Also services is neither good not bad. There is no service at all actually. Most of the time there was no one. you order the food by scanning a QR code and one person came out to give it to you. thats the only time I saw someone.

I have to say this is an amazing Indian food, I would say it stands up very well to others I’ve had in Europe and throughout the US. The samosas were perfectly cooked and had an excellent balance of flavor. The Chicken Vindaloo had the perfect level of spice. It was so good I had to force myself to stop eating. The Chicken Tikka Masala was also amazing. The favor was perfect. They can hit the spice levels exactly to what you order! The garlic naan was outstanding too. I would highly recommend this place. It’s worth the drive from Pensacola any-day!!!!

We ordered quite a few items and all items were really BAD with no taste. You go with the expectations that you will get at least good momo’s and noodles since it’s a Nepalese restaurant but honestly all food items were below average. Save your money and pick another restaurant

The food is always amazing and spot on to Nepali and Indian cuisine. The atmosphere and decorations make you feel like you are taken straight to Nepal. Although it may be a bit pricey, you get what you pay for with generous helpings and extra to take home. For the few people they have staffed at this place they do a wonderful job. Definitely recommend going and supporting our local Nepali business.

I was really excited when Yak first announced the move to Daphne since it would be closer to me. However, since the move, quality is down. The chicken tikka masala barely has any chicken. Also, delivery takes FOREVER. Not randomly but every single time!
I really hope they figure out the new location!

This was my first time trying at this restaurant and I’ve always have high hope. As I went in there the first time after covid and it was disappointing. Me and my bf went in and we had to wait, there wasn’t enough people to come out help us. My boyfriend he is from Nepal and also had been eaten at this place before, and he told me that this place used to be so much people and the food was good. But what we had there was a bummer… We had the momos was good, but other than that it was alright. The coconut chicken I ordered was salty and I don’t taste any coconut, and the lamb curry my boyfriend got also kinda salty. It’s just wasn’t as good as the other Indian restaurants that I’ve had. We also try to get some Buffalo momos or any Buffalo meats but they didn’t have that. The chow main to me it was good but he doesn’t like it. Chicken choila I didn’t like it because it was dry and they used chicken breast was kind of a bad idea. And the desert I had at the end, I think it was the mango ice cream but it’s very small and all I tasted was ice no cream… I hope they can do better next time so I can try the best food over there, but for now was disappointing…

Northern style Indian food that tastes good. We stopped here to eat lunch. We were seated promptly. We placed order by using QR code. We ordered samosas as an appetizer, tikka Marsala, garlic nun and mango lassi as a drink. The food was good. I really liked samosas and mango lassi. Tikki masala had a bit too much tomato sauce for my liking. None the less, extensive menu, prompt service and good food. I’d eat here again.
