Long John Silver’s – A&W was decent overall. The atmosphere was exactly what you’d expect from a fast-food seafood spot. The staff was friendly, but the service was very slow—my order took over 20 minutes after I placed it. I ordered the popcorn shrimp and hushpuppies; the food was alright and met expectations. I’d eat here again, just not if I’m in a hurry.

This is the best place in town for rootbeer floats. Also, seasonally, they have an awesome pumpkin pie shake! I had that today and it was great!!

This is one of our favorite restaurants when it comes to getting seafood and chicken and burgers.
The food; Is always great. They have diet rootbeer, which is one of my personal favorites. The Long John’s side is as good as ever. The A&W side is on par with LJ’s. The best part is having fried clams with coney dogs and onion rings. The desserts aren’t monstrosities, so it’s easy on your waistline as well as your pocketbook.
The service is fast and friendly even when they’re busy.
The Atmosphere; they have a streamlined layout and keep it spacious, clean, and well stocked. Their drink machine isn’t working in the eating area. However, you can still ask for refills.

I’m so sorry, I absolutely love eating Long John Silver”s, but when we went through the drive-through the service was awful. We tried ordering and the person could not figure it out and asked us to repeat the order 4 times. I honestly question if he was sober. We finally drove off and did not continue trying to order.

They tried to close a half hour early. All of the lights were off, and when we pulled up to the drive thru they said it was made to order, meaning they shut off their fryers. And they said we could order but they never turned on the lights so we couldn’t see the menu. I didn’t want them to spit in my food so we didn’t order tonight. I used to live in Burlington and I’m back for family and really wanted Long John Silvers since they don’t have it where I live. I’m very disappointed. Don’t shut off your fryers and lights before the close time listed online.

This place is awful DO NOT GO! Took an hour to get food that was not all warm. Trash overflowing. No ice in pop machine its broken, no condiments they are all out have to ask for packets. Tables all dirty we had to clean ourselves, didn’t realize till we ordered and payed since its right inside the door. Managements answer I just got here im trying to fix it. 45 min in to her shift just got food out to people nothing else changed. $50 in food to not even eat half since it wasn’t hot we didn’t trust it. Best part of the food was corn on recommendations.

Fish is good, but the waffle fries are crap! Bring back fries or give people the option between fries and waffle fries. I used to love their fries I could even eat them cold! But waffle fries are hard and tasteless.

Everyone needs fish and chips every so often. Fried clams were great. The cashier who took out order was polite and professional. She was constantly busy when not taking orders was sweeping, cleaning and sanitizing tables. As we were leaving she also thanked us for coming. It is great customer service like hers that keeps customers happy and coming back.

Got an 18.00 meal, with fish, chicken, Fries, hushpuppies and both small and large shinp. First it didn’t come with a drink had to pay extra for that, then the piece of chicken was so small and dried up I couldn’t even take a bite out of it wouldn’t even think about eating it and they forgot my two sides that came with the meal. I had to tell them they forgot them. They forgot to give us my husband cheeseburger and we had to remind them to give us them. Sat In the drive-thru with just me and another car in front of us for 25 minutes. The staff that was working, they all sucked, not friendly at all. You would have thought the whole restaurant was packed and the drive through was packed as slow as they were with the service. Tried calling to put a complaint in and the phone ring and ring and ring with no answer.

Absolutely ridiculous. Paid over 50.00 in food and waited 45 mins for them to bring food. Not surprisingly it was cold. Spoke to manager on duty who said they would remake food. Another wait and second try was also cold and missing items. Told were short staffed..at least 5 in kitchen area. Requested food be boxed to go and waited again. Had to request refund. Of course we paid card so have to wait 3-5 business days to get reimbursement. While waiting for initial order the manager conducted an interview at the table next to us. Staff was playing Metallica over the usual musac. The gentleman trying to take our order couldnt hear us due to the boisterous talking in the kitchen. Will NEVER visit this location again.
