The. Best. Nachos. anywhere. 20/10. Also tried Colcannon for the first time. That and the shepherd’s pie are the best you’ll find anywhere

We had the fried pickles and the fish and chips. They were delicious and so filling. Tartar sauce was yummy. The fries were so good that they didn’t need any sauce. Service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

The fried mushrooms were excellent and so was the Reuben. The sassy Bailey’s Burger was good-but-not-great only because it didn’t have as much heat as I would’ve liked. Still an excellent choice for someone who likes mild spice.

The servers were hopping but struck a great balance of checking in without being too intrusive. Very much a bar with good food but NOT a great place for families. Safety isn’t an issue—just size and room. There are a few places to sit that aren’t at the bar but this really isn’t a place to bring the whole tribe.

Overall, it was a worthwhile visit and the beers were cheaper than I expected which is a huge win. It’s a place worth visiting a couple times if you’re in the area for a while.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Surprising Gem for Our First Kansas Meal

My husband and I stopped by for a late lunch — our very first meal in Kansas — and we left genuinely impressed. We had fried pickles, chicken wings, and a Reuben sandwich, and every single dish was absolutely delicious. We hadn’t expected much going in, but the flavors really blew us away.

We definitely plan to return. The only downside was the draft Guinness and Harp, which tasted a bit flat and watered down. Other than that, everything was fan

So we got there right before dinner rush. We got an appetizer which was mostly good, but a tad over cooked in some pieces. Then we waited about 10 minutes for our order to be taken. 40 more to get our order. We ordered 2 restaurant medium burgers, which came out well done/burnt. I ordered the corned beef and cabbage. Consisted of sautéed cabbage, what looked to be corned beef sandwich slices, and mashed potatoes. When I told him we had somewhere to be, our server told us we shouldn’t have gone to a restaurant. Silly us, we thought an hour and half was plenty of time. Wendy’s last night was better anyway.

Came on Sunday early afternoon. Alex D. was our server. Ordered Irish Kegs as an appetizer, Bangers and mash, Fish and chips, sweet tea, Guinness, and for dessert bread pudding. In another review someone described the Irish Kegs as large tots with seasoning and goodness… that is a perfect way to describe them. Bangers and mash is sausage, mash potatoes, cabbage, a slice of toast, and a side of some kind of delicious sauce. The fish was fantastically breaded and plated on top of the fries which prevented it from getting soggy and keeping the crisp. Bread pudding was mouth watering. The food absolutely blew me away. Our server, Alex, was amazing. She made the experience absolutely fantastic.

Definitely an odd local place, food is okay, waitress was attentive and kind, staff randomly shouting and messing around in the kitchen and the back of the house reeked like cigarettes from the cooks. Fried mushrooms weren’t bad, the Guinness beef stew barely had any beef and the cabbage was inedible. Beer was good, I’d recommend this place for low prices and low expectations.

Don’t let the small, unassuming exterior of the building fool you. This place is incredible and a must for locals and transient soldiers alike. The food is everything you would hope for in an Irish Pub and more. The ambience, drinks, food, and service were spot-on. I’ve been asking servers to just surprise me with anything for years, and this was the first time someone was confident enough in the quality of their food to do it (and with outstanding results). And finally, if you can’t tell by the picture, the S’mores Dip is ingenious and downright decadent… and should by trademarked!!!

This place is a hidden gem! Placed an order to-go for the first time. We bought the Irishman burger, a cheeseburger, the bangers and mash, and corned beef and cabbage. EVERYTHING was perfect! The seasoning was on point, the service was phenomenal from start to finish, and the price was where it should be. The service was the best I’ve had, with the barkeep making sure our order was right. I wish we would have visited before placing a to-go order. The ambience was great, complete with an interesting bar with seemingly random objects in epoxy. We will definitely be back for a pint and some more corned beef and cabbage!
