We had originally planned to eat somewhere else but as soon as we came across this restaurant, we changed our mind. The restaurant has such an inviting curve appeal. It looks elegant and modern.
But here is where we almost second guess our choice. We walked in and found it to be completely empty. No people around. No reception. It took a few seconds for a person to show up and welcome us. The dining room was empty with only a single customer eating.
My wife kinda wanted to skip town and leave but we stayed. The menus were elegant and carefully laid out by meats. Beef. Pork. Chicken. Seafood etc .. easy to understand and in three different languages.
We all order our regular favorites.
Orange chicken. Sesame chicken. Kung pao shrimp.
While we waited for our food, I decided to check out the bathrooms. They were clean. Nothing much to say.
The dining room was decorated for a banquet. As we waited we began seeing more people show up; which put us at ease. As soon as our food arrived all of our fears dissipated. The food was awesome! We all loved our choices. The waiter was attentive and even helped us take a family picture.

Here are some observations. Always be sure there is someone welcoming guests. Make sure that the only smells out of your restaurant are always of food. The restaurant had a smell of what it felt like it was humidity and other stuff.

Thank you for the great food!!!

We went there specifically to enjoy a duck and Chinese food on 1jan26. Before we sat down, I asked if they had duck. They said yes. So we ordered a whole duck and a few dishes. After some time, they came back and said they only had half a duck. It was only around 6p and the place was mostly empty so why are they out of duck? We had the beef and watercress soup and the garlic stir fried snow peas – the portions were so ridiculusly small. The combination chow fun was just ok. We were almost done eating when they brought our pot stickers. We almost forgot we even ordered since they brought so late! Also, we asked for steamed rice and they gave us 1 individually bowl of rice just because we ordered the snow peas. I asked what about the half duck? So we don’t get rice for orderering that? She agreed to bring another small bowl not enough to feed 4 people and a kid! The whole experience wasn’t what we usually get at a Chinese restaurant. It was very disappointing. As we checked out, we saw another table with Peking duck and buns. The plate was still full which means they got there after us and ordered and got a duck! So much non sense. We had better experience in this place but unfortunately we won’t be coming back.

I catered from the Pearl and rented their Ballroom B for my wedding. I worked with Steve and Adam from the Pearl when coordinating the setup and essential rentals for the wedding venue. They are AMAZING!!! It was extremely beautiful without decorations and the atmosphere was very regal. The food that night was so delicious! All my guests had high praise for the food and the cake was also phenomenal. Seriously, it is an amazing one stop shop for wedding venues. Not only that, Steve and Adam provided professional service and replied timely with all my questions and needs. They also provided expert advice for my venue and was a huge part in making it successful. I highly recommend The Pearl if anyone is looking to book a wedding venue! Make sure it’s with Steve and Adam! They’re both wonderful and really want to help make anyone’s wedding memorable!

Shout to Steve and Adam! Thank you for helping my husband and me have a successful wedding!

Wow! I’m super impressed with this Chinese restaurant. Had 2 Chinese beer kirin Ichiban and the beef tenderloin. My buddy had the half order of Duck. Perfectly priced great excellent service. The atmosphere is really decked out I feel like you could host a wedding here I would eat here again. The food was so good and delicious. The menu is extensive probably need to read it online first but it was a great experience reading their menu. Tons to choose from. Thank you And keep up the great work!

Attended a wedding, in mid-November, in their chapel room and ballroom. Allowing that both rooms were very well decorated, created a very elegant atmosphere. The food was an amazing 9 course experience, along with fabulous appetizers. The service was incredible. They brought course after course, with impeccable timing. As we were finishing one course, the next one was arriving. The empty platters were removed to make room for the next course to be placed on the glass Lazy Susan, so we could all reach them, to serve ourselves.

The Pearl hands down has one of the best dim sum menus in DFW. The menu is varied and full of options. A must try with the chili oil and white pepper powder! On weekends, the servers walk around with carts full of freshly made dim sum for you to choose from. If the dim sum you are looking for is not available in the cart, they will make it for you.

From the regular menu, we had chicken corn soup, Yang Chow Fried Rice with extra beef, and lamb chops. Even though I was not a big fan of the sauce that came with the lamb chops, the dish was okay overall. The fried rice and soup were on point!

The pictures are from my many different visits there.

I came here looking forward to enjoying some dim sum, especially since it was the day after Thanksgiving and I understood it might be busy. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing.

There was no host to manage reservations, and it seemed like everyone just lined up to be seated. I noticed that four people who arrived after me were seated and served before my party. Eventually, a server directed us to a table in the corner, but after 10 minutes, we still had nothing on our table, not even plates or chopsticks. No one came to take our drink orders or check in with us.

After waiting 20 minutes, we finally inquired about ordering dim sum. A server then informed us that we needed to write our order down from the menu, and they would bring our selections out, but it would take about 20 minutes. We just left after hearing that. Overall, the lack of organization and attention made for a frustrating experience.

This place was super good! It’s also a great place to go if you’ve never been to dimsum before! Everyone was very nice and they had a nice variety. They had all my favorites: chicken feet, soup dumplings, egg tarts, and, a new favorite, mushroom shumai! Definitely recommend, will be back to try the Peking duck! (Also sorry there’s not more photos, was too hungry to wait lol)

I’m not sure if it was a scam or if they forgot or made a mistake but I ordered their “super large” order of soup dumplings and it only came with 4. I ordered it to go so when I finally opened the container I was confused and wasnt about to go back to the restaurant. They were pretty good though.
