We live close to this place. I was looking for something new. I searched “restaurants near me” and this place popped up on the list of results. The Friday of Labor Day weekend…. Hmmm… I figured it would either be mobbed or deserted. Turns out, arriving at just after 5 pm was the sweet spot. A few tables were taken… mostly senior citizens….but most tables were available. We chose a table not under the pavilion roof, but the sun wasn’t in our faces. The weather has been cooler than average this year for the end of August. I was glad I had put on a ls tee over a ss tee. He wore a ss polo over a ss tee. He was just on the comfortable edge of cool. By the time we I’m left, the place had filled up quite a bit. Our waitress, Emily, did a perfect job. Not pushy, not pesty but not a flyby absentee either. I had pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich minus the cheese . It was still delicious! He had the chicken sandwich. He had cheese on it (provolone? I didn’t pay attention, but it looked like the way provolone looks as some of it hung off the sandwich). I had a grapefruit crush (very refreshing) and we both had water, too. A chilled carafe of water was left with us along with glasses as we were seated. We each had a side salad… The romaine in mine seemed slightly fresher than his but not a deal breaker. His was a Caesar. Mine was gorgeous with cuke, grape tomatoes (halved) and three rings of red onion. My sandwich was around $15 and his was less, if I remember correctly. $12? IDK how much the salads were because I didn’t see them on the menu… We just asked for them because we wanted a vegetable. The orange crush was $9. We’ll return if this place stays open past Labor Day. I hope it does! I’ll check 10-20$ pp below but if there were a $15-25 pp option, that’s really the closest.

It’s in the golf course and the sign says the “Fox Den.” Didn’t see a Grubbery sign. Seating seems to be only outdoors but is very pleasant on a nice evening. Menu is nice and all the food was really good. Service was also really friendly. Only negative was that the food took a really long time to come out. At least 30 mins… And the appetizer came out with the main dishes! The server said their kitchen is really small and gets overwhelmed even though only half the tables were full. So minus one star but overall a good place when the weather is nice.

Food for the most part was good. The nachos were AMAZING!! We ordered a burger and could not finish it. The taste was off. To best describe it the burger tasted like old meat straight up cow taste if that makes sense. When we walked in it felt like they didn’t want to attend us and they went back and forth on where to even sit us. The girl the served us was great tho. Otherwise everything else was good.

This place is perfect for very good pub type food, good mixed drinks/beer selection, Fast/Friendly Service and a great outdoor atmosphere.

Great place for an outdoor meal! It’s a pavilion but they have plastic walls and heaters so it’s still very comfortable on cooler +50° evenings. Got loaded nachos and loaded fries, both were delicious! The fries were great which a lot of places seem to mess up. Also got the bacon jam burger and it was easily the best bacon jam burger I’ve had. In my life.. really nice outdoor restaurant.
