Tried Billy Sims BBQ last night and I liked the place. The ribs were really good and fell right off the bone. The sauces were solid too. The macaroni was good and the beans were okay, not my favorite but still decent.
Overall it was a good experience and I’d go back again. If you like ribs that are tender and easy to eat, this spot is worth checking out.

I stopped in at Billy Slims Barbeque in Midwest City and was blown away! The green beans had a unique flavor compared to the usual style, and I really enjoyed it. The baked potato salad was surprisingly delicious—definitely a step above the typical potato salad. The pulled pork had an excellent smoke flavor, the brisket was tender and packed with smoky goodness, and the ribs were absolutely tremendous!
The prices are a little higher than a basic fast-food stop, but 100% worth it for the quality and flavor. On top of the great food, the staff was incredible—very friendly, attentive, and genuinely checked in to make sure everything was going well.
I’ll definitely be stopping back the next time I’m in town!

The food honestly was disappointing. My ribs were good and the smoked was okay, but the chicken and brisket were not good. Chicken was very dry and didn’t have much smoke and the brisket also dry tough and again not much smoke. The sides were so so. The service was good. Our order was taken right away and the food came out quickly.
Our over all dinner experience just wasn’t what we had hoped for.

I ordered a loaded baked potato and pick it up around 3 today. It doesn’t come with everything on the potato, but in these little condiment containers, that didn’t really bother me much. However, the potato did. As you can see, it looked as if it was baked early this morning and kept warm all day. Surely Mr. Sims couldn’t possibly be aware of what’s being served in his namesake establishment. First and last time I will be going there. I ended up tossing it. A total waste of money.

A bit chilly inside for customers but fresh and hot food being made. Ivonne greeted us when we walked in and took our order(she gave a smile and thank you). Checking out process was like your forced to tip on the screen to get your food. The guy directed us to the screen to finish check out process with card. But also have a cup for $tips right in front of it. Baked potato should have 3 cups of BBQ sauce instead of 2 for some who prefer it.

Melinda has the best food customer service me and my husband have ever experienced!!!! she truly made our holidays. The first time we came was absolutely amazing she told us about the refillable cups to save a little extra money on your order when you bring them back next time and she would remember our faces! (We also love refillable cups to collect lol) we got the loaded spuds to go they were sooo good but the next time we came in this time we wanted to sit down the environment was great and indeed she remembered our faces! We got the same food and the potatoes were so good and seasoned and just over all felt and tasted like southern bbq home cooking. Not to mention their sauces are amazing and they sell them as well as the seasonings for great prices!! We also got one of the dessert cups up front and omg it just melts in your mouth!! We will hopefully become regulars here.

It’s not bad for what it is, but nothing great the meat was very dry, good flavor just very dry. The part that sucks the most is both times I picked up food they forgot something. First time was one of the sides I forget which, but the second was also a side the mac and cheese. I feel like it probably happens often if it was both times I went.

This was an awesome BBQ joint. The staff was friendly and hospitable. Also, they know how to take care in an expedient manner. I had my order placed and food on tray in less than 3 min it felt like. I was done and out the door in 15. Highly recommend for a lunch or dinner with friends or family.
