We stumbled upon this tiny restaurant on our way down to Nashville. It was about 5 minutes out of the way and well worth the detour off the interstate. We were greeted like regulars. The service was quick, the food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable!

3 adults $50 for 3 burgers, fries, tots, jalapeno poppers, cheese curds, one fried bologna sandwich and drinks. Walked out full. Very good, old school burgers. Fried bologna was a bit salty but edible. Cool little place that’s been in business 71 years. That says a lot do give them a try if you’re looking for a good eats at a mom and pop shop!!

If you’re roadtripping and are near Vienna, IL, drive right in past the Dairy Queen to Ned’s Shed for a burger and fries. My husband also raved about the fried bologna sandwich. The people are friendly and the food was great. We try to avoid chain restaurants while we’re on vacation and this was the perfect first stop!

Definitely a locals GEM of a spot!!! My husband has been several times and he finally invited me to join him. Very good burger!! When you get home and can’t forget how good the burger is and start planning your next trip, you know it’s a winner of a restaurant!!!!!

Extremely friendly staff, very fast service and great food. Homemade seasonings on the fries and homemade sweet relish. Double burger was excellent as we’re the cheese curds. Sweet tea was perfect.

Oh my gosh! I’m sad that I live hours away from Ned’s. Jacob and his mom are most gracious hosts and the fries are living up to their “famous” name. The black cherry soda was so delicious. We loved everything we had.
