This place is insane! I came in first thing in the morning to buy tamales and just had a mouth orgasm. I don’t know what else I could say. These tamales were a 20/10! They had chicken pork and jalapeño and cheese. They are huge and the most flavorful thing I’ve ever eaten. This place is for sure a hidden gem. If you love Mexican food or you love tamales, this is where you want to go there isn’t anyone else anywhere even near here that has anything like this.

This is my new favorite restaurant in Monroe (or really anywhere). I’m white as hell and I’m used to fast-food Mexican food, so this place really opened my eyes to what I’ve been missing out on. Everything they make is 10/10 delicious and exceeded my expectations. The mangonadas is AMAZING, their tamales are the best in town, the elote is fantastic, their shaved ice is awesome. I’m going to try everything on the menu lol. So glad I decided to look for tamales one day and found this hidden gem. I can’t handle spicy food well but everything was just right. Wanted an elote, and they didn’t have any. Bought a tamal, didnt have much cash on me and their card machine wasnt working. Had to cancel my pico de gallo fruta due to limted cash. The tamal was way to dry and tastes awful. Didn’t finish it. Not worth the $2+ to take it back.

Drove 1 hour and 20 minutes to get tamales.
Tamales are delicious!. I got a whole dozen to bring home to my kids. While there I also got a esquite, and a cup of fresh fruit. Everyone is so friendly and the places is very clean. I will be returning soon.
