I got nervous walking in because the place was empty at lunch time, but I’m glad I trusted the great reviews! Was greeted at the door and served at the bar my Mahmut. He was very nice and attentive. I ordered the cool cucumber which was very tasty. For food, I got the croquet appetizer and fried chicken entree. Both were absolutely amazing! I’m glad I found this place! Can’t wait to come back and introduce this gem to friends

From the moment we walked into Piraye, we knew we were in for something special. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with tasteful decor, and a subtle background of Turkish musics that set the perfect mood for dinner.
The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The master chief, Suleyman, explained the menu and offered excellent wine pairing suggestions.
As for the food—wow. Every dish was beautifully presented. We started with the mushrooms and cheese qroquettes, which was incredibly delicious. For mains, I had the wagyu burger and Turkish beef pide cooked to perfection. We finished with their signature desert kunefe, which might just be the best I’ve ever had.
Overall, this was a five-star experience from start to finish. Highly recommend for a romantic evening or a special occasion. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I’m rarely in this area and went specifically for the flat iron steak, which they were out of that day. They were also out of the wine I wanted and my second choice. So I was disappointed that nothing I wanted was available, but my fried chicken choice was fine. It was crispy on top and soggy on the bottom, but it happens. The flavor was good. I was not a big fan of the gravy, so I sort of scraped it off. My husband’s burger was delicious and his drink was fun (video). The service was great. I think this is probably a solid place, but I just happened to get the short end of the stick on everything that particular day.

Had a lovely time at Piraye Kitchen and Bar! It’s the perfect spot for date night, family gathering, or even a business meeting – cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I made a reservation just to be safe, and though it wasn’t busy when we arrived, the staff was still attentive and productive. Our server was knowledgeable, which made our experience even better. I had the steak, eggs, and potatoes, and it was absolutely delicious! My friend went for the avocado toast, and they loved it too. Plus, the parking is free with plenty of spots available, which is always a bonus.
Be safe and enjoy!

My friends and I went on a brunch date. One of my friends was late so the server kept consistently checking on us. It’s nice but sometimes kinda annoying. The brunch menu was typical brunch items but with a Turkish twist. We order steak and eggs , avocado toast, shrimp and grits. And a charcuterie board type thing to share. I tot forgot the name of it. Our drinks was good. Once our food came out, it was def 10/10 the shrimp and grits was so flavorful and saucy. I didn’t expect that from a Turkish style shrimp and grits. The steak and eggs was amazing good. Cooked to perfection medium rare. Chimichurri sauce that was on top was amazing. The ambience for the restaurant was def too nice for our loud people. Everything was beautiful. Bar to restroom. We did order dessert in the end and an Espresso martini but a Turkish style one and that was so good.

The new owner is trying to stay true to the southern food base from their predecessor Secreto (which judging by the social media comments has a healthy following) and tried to bring in Turkish influence. I think this is a tough balance to strike. The breakfast was great and had a nice spread and tasted true to my expectations (recommend not being as stingy with tomatoes and cucumbers) but the lunch menu doesn’t seem to have any of the Aegean influence I expected from the new kitchen. A few kebabs thrown in with burgers and fried chicken is a tug of war I think neither wins. They will need to pick a side and do it well. Of course, given the lackluster Turkish food presence in ATL, I recommend Aegean style Turkish dishes, like a wide variety of zeytinyağlı mezes, fish, octopus, calamari, stuffed muessels, grilled meatballs, chicken kebabs, maybe, dare I say iskender or çağ kababi? Check out Cafe Istanbul in Chicago that does this very well. We will revisit to give dinner a chance.

The place is very nice and the decor is top notch. It was not busy and it’s in a shopping plaza so parking is what’s available. I met friends so we ate outside on the patio which it was a nice day. My drinks were good, I had the Mediterranean Punch and the Southern Passion.
For appetizer, I had the babaganush which was ok, and I had the lamb shish kebab which was not good and was over cooked. Overall the service was nice and they gave us chocolate mousse cake to celebrate but the food was the best.

This used to be one of our favorite brunch spots. Something changed with staff in recent months, though- and that might include cooks.
We usually order chicken biscuit, chicken and waffles, and deviled eggs. Normally it’s all really good, and the staff is always super attentive/professional.
Today, however, it took an abnormally long time for our order to get put in (it wasn’t super busy today). All of our pieces of bacon were burnt, and there was still egg shell on our deviled eggs.
The food overall was still fine, but not at the caliber it used to be. The even crazier thing to me, though, was how long it took to get a check – but then while the waiter was swiping my credit card, he took a personal phone call and left my card sitting in the register.
I’ll probably give this place another chance or two, but if the experience repeats, we have no problems going to any of the other brunch spots in town. Lagarde, Flavor Rich, and Buttermilk Kitchen are all fantastic alternatives if you find yourself having trouble choosing another brunch spot.

Piraye Breakfast & Birthday Celebration Experience
Yesterday, we had a fantastic breakfast at Piraye while also celebrating a friend’s birthday. The cozy atmosphere and beautifully presented dishes made the experience even more enjoyable.
The waffle, topped with fresh fruits, chocolate, and ice cream, was both visually stunning and delicious. The traditional Turkish breakfast spread was rich in variety and full of flavor. The service was fast and friendly, and the tea was brewed to perfection.
Piraye is highly recommended for those who love Turkish breakfast or want to celebrate a special occasion!

we were looking online for a place to try and a lot of reviews had recommended this place so we decided to check it out.
its deemed as a Southern Kitchen and restaurant, but as someone from the South I missed the southern influences.
we ordered the cornbread, the bang bang shrimp and the pecan and pear salad. the cornbread was supposed to come out first but everything came all at once. the cornbread tasted like it came from a mix, which is fine, but no additional seasonings nor spices were added. the pecan salad was average and the bang bang shrimp was better at the original location (if you know you know)
lackluster food at mid prices resulted in a missed opportunity. only positive was Baran who was a great server
